This event will be a practical exploration of facilitation skills that coordinate sustainable group action, an interactive and hands-on workshop. Topics will include: * Leadership, facilitation and organisation of group dynamics * Gathering people and moving them towards joint action purposefully * How to create useful skills and habits that enable consistency * What motivates and helps maintain active participation among all members of a community Matthew Scheepers is a British communication consultant with a background in behavioural science and cognitive psychology. He uses insights into how people think and behave to help groups navigate difficult conversations and make decisions together. *The interactive talk will begin at 19:00 sharp, please aim to arrive at 18:45 to have time to check-in at the entrance and grab a drink at the bar* 😊 Disclaimer: We take photos at the event and record the conversation for follow up and material distribution with the participants and use some selected photos on our social media pages. **Invitation** **We are the instruments.** A participatory, improvised, embodied practice that reconnects us to one another through rhythm, voice, and play. This is a guided yet fully improvised experience, using the facilitation tools and methods of [Musica do Circulo](https://www.musicadocirculo.com/en). No prior experience is required, only an openness to connect with other humans in your own fun, light and authentic way. Circle songs are an invitation into a fully immersive, fully improvised musical experience using vocals, body percussion and movement. It draws inspiration from musical embodied rhythm practices from around the world, including call-and-response singing, rhythmic clapping games and circle song traditions. Simply by standing in a circle and connecting with our bodies as our instruments, we are reminded that we can find joy and meaning right here in this present moment, and in the next.

En esta ocasiĂłn, desplazamos el foco de la optimizaciĂłn al concepto de **instrumentaciĂłn**, explorando el artefacto como mediador entre la mano y la materia. Reflexionaremos sobre cĂłmo la creaciĂłn de herramientas especĂ­ficas de bajo impacto condiciona el resultado de lo que cocinamos, transformando el gesto tĂ©cnico en un lenguaje propio. En esta ediciĂłn, el diseño del objeto serĂĄ el que dicte el ritmo, la forma y la escala de la mesa. # ​¿QuĂ© es ***Colectivo Farina?*** ​Un espacio para experimentar, degustar y cocinar colectivamente, creado por **[bifaz](https://www.instagram.com/bifazworks/).** ## ​\*\*ÂżPara quĂ©?\*\* ​Colectivo Farina busca **reconectar con los ingredientes y retomar tĂ©cnicas olvidadas** de la cocina, reduciendo artilugios y poniendo el foco en lo **manual**, lo **artesanal** e incluso lo **ancestral**. Todo esto se lleva a una actividad de **cocina colectiva**, donde el resultado final serĂĄ, en su mayorĂ­a (pero no limitado a) pasta, usada aquĂ­ como formato versĂĄtil, accesible y profundamente comunitario. ## ​¿Por quĂ© *Farina*? ​Del latĂ­n farÄ«na, “harina” o “polvo fino de grano”, un ingrediente base de innumerables culturas desde el inicio de los tiempos. EconĂłmica, cotidiana y sustanciosa, la harina representa la sencillez en su mĂĄximo esplendor. Y de eso va este proyecto: de **volver a lo esencial**. De cocinar desde lo bĂĄsico, sin artificios, donde **la pasta, serĂĄ nuestro vehĂ­culo principal**, no por tĂ©cnica, sino por lo que simboliza: uniĂłn, manualidad y un punto de partida comĂșn. ## ​Lo que NO es ​No es una cena clandestina. ​No es un taller de pasta. ​No es un restaurante. ​AquĂ­ **tod@s somos cocineros** y nadie queda por fuera. If your idea doesn’t move forward, you can join another team! ​​**Do I have to submit my idea online prior to the event?** ​​Unlike previous years, we don’t have the option to submit your idea online prior to the event. Instead, everyone will be going through a brainstorming exercise on Saturday that’ll help you prepare for your initial pitch. ​​**Will we be working for 24 hours straight?** ​​Nope. The event is split over two days. You’ll be building on Saturday and pitching on Sunday. ​​**Do I have to pitch an idea?** ​​Nope.
