Network with entrepreneurs and investors at 12 Hay Hill, Mayfair. A premium evening for business growth in London's top private club.
Join leading **entrepreneurs, investors, company directors, and business professionals** for an exclusive networking experience in Mayfair. Hosted at the prestigious Hay Hill private members club, this London Connector event brings together high-level decision-makers to build meaningful relationships, explore new opportunities, and grow their network in a premium setting. Connect with like-minded leaders, spark collaborations, and enjoy a powerful evening designed to elevate your business.
## **Our unique venue is:**
Set in a stunning six-story building at **Berkeley Square, Hay Hill** is unique as it combines the luxury of a private members club with the business focus of a co-working environment, pioneering the concept of the club working, all in the heart of Mayfair.
For our event, we have reserved an area of the venue with a cash bar, so that we can mix and mingle and meet old and new friends, new contacts, and, why not, new clients too!
## **Program**
The format of the evening is 'mix and mingle', meet like-minded business leaders and entrepreneurs and investors in a relaxed environment. Our team is onsite to facilitate meaningful introductions. We connect at a human-to-human level, and prefer building relationships.
## **How many people are attending?**
We have a **maximum capacity of 80 guests** for this venue and given the popularity of our events and the nature of the venue that hosts us, **this one is predicted to be sold out in advance also because on average for each event we run 30-40 places are booked by our members who have joined the yearly membership. Early booking is truly and highly recommended.**
The reason the events we organize are so successful is that we follow a very simple, but effective formula. A couple of days before the event **we create a WhatsApp group with those attendees who wish to start getting to know each other**. This allows each participant to set up meetings with those they wish to meet during (or even before) the event. On the day of the event, you will find a relaxed environment, and a welcoming and supportive crowd.
**Our team will be at the venue to introduce you to anybody specific you'd like to talk to.**
Guests will have access to the part of the Club reserved for our event, but not to other private areas of Hay Hill Club. You can book a private tour though.
**Dress code: business casual (no trainers, no jeans)**
**Refund policy. Tickets bought in advance are generally cheaper than those bought on the day of the event and for this reason cannot be refunded. They can be reassigned to another person of your choice.**
**Event Disclaimer**
Please note that photos and videos may be taken during this event. These may be used on our social media channels and promotional materials to showcase our events.
If you prefer not to appear in any photos or videos, please inform the event host upon arrival, and we will ensure your preference is respected.

50-50 What Came First (incl Songs and Films) And Social
Welcome to our 50-50 What Came First Trivia Quiz and afternoon social get-together. Could be songs, films, inventions, anything...
**Bring a pen please.**
30 interesting tricky questions, each with two answers to choose from. (No sport or maths). Is the answer obvious or not? I set the quiz so expect surprises.
Check photos below or similar events for previous question sheets.
When you go on walks, you see and learn things. With this Trivia Quiz, you'll definitely be learning a bit more!
Four players max per team, but the lower number teams get a point per player start from the biggest team.
For example, four teams of one, two, three and four. Four player team, no advantage, (the biggest and theoretically the more knowledge between them, except it doesn't always work like that). Three player team one point start. Two player team two point start. One player team three point start.
Scores are always close and around the 22-25 points mark. How many players do you want in your team? There's a dilemma!
Team prizes of interesting flavour chocolate and also for the funniest team name.
Picture Hunts, specialist subject, or trivia events, every Monday at various central london Wetherspoons.
Event time is from 2-4pm, which allows plenty of time to get away for transport. Twenty minutes for the quiz, five for marking up, and socialising time for the remainder period.
There is a small charge of £5 card/cash to cover prize and Meetup costs.
This is a great way to make new friends or catch up with old ones. See you there!

LSE Lecture: Grassroots: shaping the digital realm and the world
The digital realm today concentrates power and wealth in the hands of the few... whereas grassroots platforms exclude third-party control, manipulation, or rent extraction, honouring individual dignity and autonomy by design. Successful deployment could transform the digital realm and through it—society, economy, and politics.
The LSE offer lectures that are open to the public (attendance fee applies) on a variety of subjects. Let's meet outside Holborn tube station, just to the left of the main entrance on Kingsway. We will walk down together at 6pm on the dot. Please be on time, the venue is at capacity at 6.15pm!
Please register for your free entrance ticket (Meetup attendance fee applies), they are asking a couple of questions:

In this month’s Confidence Lab, we’ll gather at **Petals That Inspire: The Flourish Studio** for an evening exploring the connection between creativity and confidence. How making with our hands, engaging our senses, and allowing space for expression can shift how we see ourselves and what we believe is possible.
Our featured speaker, **Amanda Lorenzetti**, owner of Petals That Inspire, will share how creativity has shaped her own confidence journey and why creative environments play such a powerful role in well-being, resilience, and personal growth. Drawing from her work leading an experience-driven floral studio and a community-centered workforce development program, Amanda will reflect on creativity as both a personal and collective catalyst.
Amanda will also guide us through a **hands-on floral design experience**, creating a fresh arrangement in a wide mouth mason jar. No prior floral experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to engage the process.
This evening is an invitation to slow down, create, and reconnect with the part of yourself that grows through care, attention, and imagination. You’ll leave with a floral arrangement to take home, and a deeper understanding of how confidence can be cultivated through creative practices.
**Featured Speaker: Amanda Lorenzetti**
Amanda Lorenzetti is the owner and founder of [Petals That Inspire](https://www.petalsthatinspire.com/) and The Flourish Studio, a social enterprise florist based in Columbus, Ohio. She brings more than a decade of experience in wedding and event sales, paired with hands-on expertise in floral and event design.
Amanda’s connection to the floral industry began early, spending time alongside her godmother, a professional florist on the East Coast.
After earning her business degree, she returned to her hometown in Connecticut to work as a floral and event designer, blending creative artistry with strong operational and client-focused skills.
In 2020, Amanda returned to the floral industry with a renewed purpose, driven by a desire to build a business rooted in creativity, community impact, and sustainability. During this pivotal time, she founded Petals That Inspire—an innovative floral concept that reimagines the traditional florist model by combining event florals, workshops, and experiential offerings with a mission-centered approach to workforce development.
Today, Petals That Inspire is a thriving social enterprise known for its thoughtful design, educational experiences, and commitment to empowering young adults facing barriers to entry in the workforce. Amanda is deeply passionate about building businesses that are both profitable and purpose-driven, and she leverages her strong business acumen to create a scalable & sustainable model that inspires creativity while giving back to the community.
**What is Confidence Lab?**
Confidence Lab is a monthly community experience for bold, thoughtful leaders building confidence from the inside out. Whether you’re launching a business, leading a team, navigating change, or simply striving to show up more fully—you belong here.
Our work demands clarity, courage, and conviction—but the pace of daily life can erode our sense of self. Confidence Lab creates space to reflect, reconnect, and grow with others doing purpose-driven work.
It’s designed for entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, creatives, corporate professionals, activists, and anyone ready to lead with authenticity and impact.

Take over this Meetup group or it's gone!
I'm canceling my subscription as a Meetup organizer as of March 9th 2026. I have never made it a priority and I know anyone of you can do a better job than I did. I do believe that organizing like minded people together is important in the world we live in today. If any of you would like to take over the the leadership of this group and organize meetings for the members please let me know in the comments. I will contact you so we can transition the group to you.

Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association:
They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other church–state issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEA’s early wins and hard lessons, what we’re seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the landscape — and practical ways to get involved.
Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online
