Authentic Dating (For Ages 45 - 65) 💘 : CANCELLED
Tickets may be purchased here:
https://hipsy.nl/event/202332-authentic-dating-45-tot-65-jaar
After the huge success and sold-out editions our last Authentic Dating events, we're back with a new edition! And this time a 45+ event <3!
What to expect
We offer playful ways of interacting, partly with a soft, sensory approach and partly through meditative presence. You’ll skip the superficial small talk and learn how to connect in an open, honest, and playful way.
During this event, we combine dating with light, conscious touch and body-based exercises. You’ll learn to better feel and communicate your desires and boundaries, while discovering whether there’s a genuine connection.
Throughout the afternoon, you’ll move through a series of carefully guided encounters. These experiences help you show up as your true self, communicate openly, and explore different forms of connection.
During this gathering, we use accessible, playful, and partly body-oriented exercises to create connection — with yourself and with others.
We alternate between working with the whole group and in smaller groups, allowing space for both depth and lightness. We will also offer dating opportunities with 1 on 1 exercises.
By the end of the day, you’ll go home feeling connected, inspired, and equipped with practical tools you can apply in your everyday (dating) life.
Afterwards, participants will have gotten to know each other in an open, playful, and authentic way, with meaningful — and possibly romantic — connections emerging.

Slow dating - Connection Games [Affinitee Utrecht, May Edition]
## Love is in the air…!
After the crazy success of our first event, we're back with more connection games!
This time, the games will be much shorter (15-20 mins each) to allow for easier rotation.
For those who're new here, Affinitee hosts slow dating events focused on discovering relationships built on compatibility over superficiality!
**No more swiping, skip the bad dates!**
### *This is how it works:*
1\. Before you arrive at the meetup\, you fill in a fun 5\-10 minute questionnaire before registration below \(if you haven't already\)\. We explore different aspects of relationship compatibility using this questionnaire\.
To make use of the pre-matching facility, we recommend registering on the website as well. You may sign up here https://affinitee.eu/au-event-3
2\. A match will be automatically assigned \(if available\)\, based on your given criteria \(age range\, children\, location etc\.\) as well as the overall compatibility score based on your questionnaire answers\.
3\. At the event\, you will be able to try out a multitude of board/card games that are specifically chosen to explore various aspects of relationship compatibility \(moral values\, decision making etc\.\)\.
4\. After each game\, you can choose to switch partners\, or continue with the same\, based on input from either parties\.
5\. At the end of the event\, IF you did indeed feel a spark with someone at the event \(and it is reciprocated\)\, we help you arrange a date with them\. You do not even have to exchange contacts\!
**[!!IMPORTANT!!]** We recommend signing up through our website to guarantee a match as early as possible. But of course, even if no match is assigned to you due to late registration or gender imbalance, a majority of the games are still played as groups! *So nobody gets left out and everyone has a chance to meet and match with other singles.*
We believe in conscious, compatibility based matchmaking. Don't waste your time dating the wrong people!

👉 Turn Your Lived Experience Into Multiple Books Using AI (Ashburn)
**Saturday • May 16 • 2–5 PM • Ashburn, VA**
Many people say they want to write a book someday — **this session helps you start.**
Your life experiences already contain stories, lessons, and insights that could become books. The real challenge is **how to organize those experiences and actually turn them into writing.**
In this interactive session, I’ll share the approach I’m using to build a **multi-book journey based on lived experience.**
So far I have:
📚 **3 books published on Amazon**
📖 **1 more books releasing this year** (end of the year)
📝 **16 additional books planned** — and likely many more.
This session is not about writing **just one book**.
We’ll explore how your experiences can evolve into **multiple books over time**, and how to **use AI the right way to speed up your writing while keeping your voice authentic.**
***
### What We’ll Explore
• Turning life experience into book ideas
• How one journey can become multiple books
• Simple ways to structure stories and lessons
• Using **AI to organize ideas and speed up writing**
• Practical strategies to actually finish a book
**Everyone will leave with the outline of their first book idea.**
**You don’t need writing experience — just curiosity about how your life experiences might turn into ideas worth sharing.**
***
### Event Details
💵 **$25 RSVP — includes coffee + snacks**
📍 **Ashburn, VA** (exact address shared after RSVP)

# Background — Writing & Reinvention Journey
Writing has been one of the most powerful tools in my own reinvention journey.
What began as reflections during a difficult life transition gradually evolved into published books and a growing body of work focused on reinvention, personal growth, and life transitions.
My goal is not just to write books — but to help others realize that their experiences may also hold stories worth sharing.

Authentic Relating: Needs Behind the Conflict
What if the conflicts in your life weren’t problems to fix—but doorways to deeper understanding?
In this interactive Authentic Relating (AR) event, we’ll explore what unmet needs often sit beneath tension, frustration, and disconnection. Rather than focusing on who’s right or wrong, we’ll practice shifting attention to what truly matters underneath: our shared basic human needs; as described by Marshall Rosenberg (NVC).
Through guided games and real-time exercises, you’ll practice slowing down, listening more deeply, and uncovering what truly matters—both in yourself and others.
Whether you're navigating family dynamics, relationships, or everyday interactions, this experience offers a supportive space to:
* Recognize the needs driving conflict
* Express yourself with honesty and care
* Build deeper, more meaningful connections
*
Come as you are—no experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to connect.
**Who would benefit from this practice:** partners, family members, those who want help connecting with others (friendships), professionals who have trouble working with team members, and team leaders who are trying to make an impact.
**About Mike**: Mike is a certified Authentic Relating facilitator from ART International and trained in Nonviolent Communications. He is eager to facilitate authentic relating exercises in order to provide impact on people's lives.

🔁 You’ll be **paired** with different attendees throughout the event for short, energizing rounds — each sparked by a simple **opening line** designed to make you laugh, reflect, and think bigger about what comes next.
You won’t just talk about what’s behind you — You’ll begin to **picture what’s ahead** in a way that actually excites you.
***
**☕ Coffee and snacks are on me.**
Just show up with a curious mind — and a willingness to laugh.
We’ll guide you through questions that blend **wisdom and humor** — the kind that help you see your story through a new lens.
