Join members of the club and other backcountry enthusiasts at RMIT for this year's 21st Annual Winter Wildlands Alliance Backcountry Film Festival. The backcountry film festival is a pre winter institution in Melbourne. This year’s screenings are a collection of 10 short documentaries and ski movies about the pursuit of adventure in the mountains, artistic vision, friendship, and how the snowsports community is adapting to a changing environment. Jewellers can hire a desk in our workshop to make or finish off their own pieces. This workshop is self run, you need to attend a health and safety induction before working daily unattended. Basic jewellery making tools are provided and some consumables such as flux, borax, tumbling polish, lathe polish and some drill bits. **You and doggies are welcome today for an easy 10km stroll, followed by brunch when we’re finished at a nearby cafe.** **We’ll meet in the Swamp Gum carpark and start off along the Westerfolds Park circuit track, before we veer slightly off track at the rapids lookout point. Here we leave the circuit path and make our way around to the stunning suspension bridge.
