This is a community-organized event. If you'd like to come up and play or sing, please show up 30 minutes before the event, and say hello. KEYBOARD PLAYERS There’s a keyboard provided by participants on most sessions. Contact us via Facebook or Meetup.com to confirm a keyboard at a particular event. DRUMMERS: There’s a drum kit provided by participants on most jam sessions. Consider bringing your cymbals, or ask to use the provided ones. GUITAR PLAYERS: Bring your instrument, and an instrument cable. Recommended: bring your amplifier too. BASS PLAYERS: Bring your instrument. At some sessions there’s a bass amplifier provided by participants. Other times, bass is connected directly to the mixer. Contact us to confirm. QUIET INSTRUMENTS (violin, cello, etc): Bring a pickup, a lead cord, and a small monitor amp.

(Is this a Boot Camp 😀😍??)This is an easy social hike 🐿🐐🐏 in Glendalough but you still need some hiking fitness and be able to walk on rocky paths with a hiking boots. The hike starts at about 12.15pm from Glendalough MAIN visitor's center at the bus stop and bus pickup point back to Dublin at 17.30pm. Please be on early and on time for those who are meeting us in Glendalough. This hike is not always on a track🏔, so HIKING BOOTS with Vibram Sole and ankle support highly recommended as some tracks are also very rocky and muddy. No JEANS for this hike ,No Running shoes please. Dogs 🐕🦮🐕‍🦺 welcome, But need to check with bus company if not driving by car there. Bring waterproof warm winter clothing, food, snacks and water or drinks as we will stop for breaks. You Need some level of fitness and some hiking experience but this is not a hard hike. This is a sporting event, so every person attending this hike is responsible for their own health and saftey at all times.

***Join us on a history-focused walking tour of Bray! This is a St. Patrick's Day special with lots of general history and a Paddy's Day story for the day that's in it!*** Hi everyone, my name is Marina Boyle and I'm a local tour guide excited to share Bray with you! On this guided walk I'll take you through the local stories of early Bray through to Victorian times and into the modern day. Did you know that Bray was once a popular honeymoon destination? Or indeed a smuggling hot spot, home to Turkish Baths, and the location of Ireland's oldest film studio? As I share these stories and more, there will also be plenty of time to chat and make connections. Whether you are local, new to the area, or wanting to learn and make friends at the same time, this tour is for you! We'll start at Bray Harbour, opposite the Harbour Bar. This is accessible by DART, bus or car. The tour will finish in a similar location and last approximately 1.5 hours. This is a tip based tour. We thought of one of the interesting things that can be enjoyed at this time of the year. We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM. It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily. I'll try to have signs outside Marian Hall that Identify our group. We hope to have you join us!

The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage!
