While we do aim to play seriously and challenge ourselves, the focus is more on growth and enjoyment than simply winning at all costs. That’s why the title doesn’t include “competitive” or “social”—we want a healthy mix of both. We do expect a mindset geared toward learning and getting better over time. Friendly game. No slide tackling, rough play, or coaching. Bring a white and dark colored shirt. Ideally we will play 10 vs. 10 on half the field, but will split into multiple games if we have numbers.

Thursday Night Rooftop Social 🌸 @ Lucha Rosa Laid-back Thursday rooftop social — come meet new people, grab a drink, and hang. We’ll be at Lucha Rosa (great views + fun vibe). Super easygoing group — most people come solo and it’s easy to jump in. I’ll be there introducing people so no pressure at all. If you've never played volleyball but want to learn, start playing, and add a fun new hobby to your list, this event is the perfect place to begin! **What to expect:** We will warm up and then host will demonstrate the skill of the day and run drills to practice the skill. **About the Event** An event for the Maryland folks! So much parking!!!!! The Maryland Expansion Pack is a board game/tabletop gaming event for both experienced and casual gamers. Be prepared to meet new people and try new games. **About the Games** This series will focus two types of games -- A hosted "meaty game" for players looking for a more in-depth experience, and a collection of social games. The hosted game is intended for experienced tabletop fans. These games will include titles with rulesets that are a bit more complex, take a bit more time, and are often strategic and competitive. (space may be limited) The Social Games are easy to learn, and play!!! Come meet other 20s and 30s and play board games at The Spot Asian Food Hall in Rockville Town Center. We'll play from 2-4 pm but could go later if folks are interested. Bring games you'd like to play if you've got them. Since The Spot has limited seating, please keep your RSVP up to date.

Come join us for a taste of Korean, Japanese & Chinese cuisine at Tilly's Kitchen in Chantilly, where we get together for some dinner and play some board games until closing time. This will be a smaller event, due to the small capacity. If you are waitlisted, please standby until a spot opens up.

Yummy Bowl serves Mongolian BBQ, sushi, and ramen. Mongolian BBQ is a stir-fry style of cuisine where you place a selection of raw noodles/rice, vegetables, fruit, and protein in to a bowl along with your choice of sauces and the dish is cooked for you on a large, round grill while you wait. Every bowl is delicious and you are the chef so the selection gets better every time! Expect entrees in the range of $17 plus tax and beverage. Regular coffee meetup for people to meet, make new friends, or enjoy general conversations with coffee. Great for those who are new in town or looking for new activities to do! This will be held at Weird Brothers Coffee at Worldgate Centre in Herndon. Afterwards, if anyone is interested, we can grab lunch at whichever nearby restaurant in the shopping center. There’s a TGI Friday’s, a Thai place, a Mexican place, Inchin’s Asian fusion restaurant, and we are open to alternative preferences.
