Social Sips & Bites family - ready for something new, fun, and a little competitive? We’re bringing you a Rummikub Social Gathering - a relaxed night of games, laughs, and great company. Never played before? Perfect. Miriam will be there to teach us step-by-step, so no experience needed at all. Just come ready to learn, play, and connect. We host a games party on the first Friday of each month (with occasional exceptions). We love Eurogames and have dozens. Guests often bring more. We play a variety of games, ranging in complexity from Ticket to Ride to Terraforming Mars and beyond. Ordinary drinks and snacks will be available. RSVPs will cose at 11 pm the day before the party. Dogs: We have two of our own and sometimes have others in foster care. People who do not like dogs may play at tables in the basement while the dogs stay upstairs.

*Betrayal at House on the Hill* is a popular horror-themed board game where 3-6 players explore a haunted mansion, building the map as they go, until a "Haunt" event turns one player into a traitor, flipping the game from cooperative to asymmetric, one-vs-many gameplay with different win conditions for the traitor and heroes. The current version is the 3rd Edition, featuring updated art, characters, and rules for 50 different scenarios (Haunts).

We will be playing Anachrony with up to 6 players. All experience levels welcome. Expect the game teach to start promptly within the first 10 minutes. Anachrony is set after a catastrophic explosion has nearly wiped out the human race and made the planet mostly uninhabitable. The game is played over a dynamic timeline as an even more terrible cataclysm is looming on the horizon: an asteroid bearing the mysterious substance called Neutronium is heading towards Earth. Players may power up Time Rifts to reach back to earlier turns to supply their past "self" with resources. At its core Anachrony is a worker placement game requiring the use of your various specialists and sometimes even Exosuits to protect your specialists. Join us for a paint and sip experience where you’ll receive a free undead miniature and explore the dark forces of necromancy in Warhammer Fantasy and The Old World. Whether you’re new to the hobby or a seasoned painter, this event invites you to raise something from the dead and make it your own. Learn techniques for painting bone, decay, ghostly effects, and weathered armor while diving into the lore and battlefield role of undead factions. From shambling skeletons to cursed revenants, you’ll bring a lifeless model to unholy existence. All supplies are provided, space is limited, and the dead are waiting to rise.

We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome!
