Arkham Horror Third Edition is a cooperative board game for one to six players who take on the roles of investigators trying to rid the world of eldritch beings known as Ancient Ones. Based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft, players will have to gather clues, defeat terrifying monsters, and find tools and allies if they are to stand any chance of defeating the creatures that dwell just beyond the veil of our reality.

We play a variety of games with a focus on high interaction Euros. Events will start with quick games while people arrive and eat lunch. We will start longer games between 1:30pm and 2pm. A basic knowledge and skill in Euchre is required. You don't need to be an expert to play at the tournament as people of all skill levels are playing. * If you consider yourself a good euchre player and haven't played with us before you are welcome to come. * We play stick the dealer and no steal the deal. * We only play 8 hands (every person gets to deal twice); this is standard Progressive Tournament play. * Your score and the score of the other team is recorded on your scorecard. * We don't play to a score of 10. Whatever score you have at the end of 8 hands gets recorded. * After game 5 we will have a brief intermission. * If the "sitting out" table has 3 people at it, we still have to figure out the proper rotation technique (TBD). * Tournament rules will be handed out before the beginning of play and each table will enforce them. Join us for our weekly riichi mahjong meetup! It is highly encouraged to make a purchase of food or drink at the Whole Foods while playing there. We play on the second floor of the Whole Foods in a bar area called The High Point, There is parking for $5 on the weekends at The Boro Garage B. Do not use the whole foods parking lot since it gets up to $25.

With war breaking out, the gnomes of Brastlewark in Cheliax can no longer cling to their carefree ways. Self-proclaimed King Drum Thornfiddle is eager to ingratiate himself to Queen Abrogail, and so conscripts the city's magical and creative resources towards the war effort. A few gnomes have broken free, and they have brought evidence of the various works being created in Brastlewark. They're no fighters, though. ### Chaos in July \| Free Chaos Warrior Mini Event Embrace the ruinous powers this July with Chaos Warriors at The Arcane Foundry. Join us for a paint and sip experience where you’ll receive a free Chaos Warrior miniature and be introduced to one of the most iconic forces in Warhammer Fantasy and The Old World. Whether you’re new to the hobby or a seasoned painter, this event is your chance to forge a champion of darkness. Learn how to paint dark armor, corrupted metals, glowing runes, and battle-worn textures that define the look of Chaos. From grim warriors sworn to the Dark Gods to towering figures of intimidation, you’ll explore the lore, aesthetic, and presence of Chaos on the battlefield. All supplies are provided, space is limited, and the path to glory begins here.

This is a chance to set up & play some of your old favorite games, and maybe learn some new ones.

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can sometimes fill esrly. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
