Monday Tabletop Games at The Golden Lion Pub
It's **Monday** which means the fun and games are at **The Golden Lion Pub**, Romford, tonight!
Come join us & meet like minded gamers & new & old friends for a bit of board gaming, RPG, card gaming or Wargaming fun 🎲
Bring your own games or grab one from our selection of over 100 games & play while you enjoy a drink & some pub grub 🦁
🎟 For full access to our club & all it's games, we ask that each attendee give a suggested donation of a £1 entry fee at both our venues. This is just £1 per person, per night.
This is simply to help the club cover it's expenses & stay operational.
We have a fund in place if you are struggling financially though so please ask us and we will cover you no problem 🙂
At the Lion, you will find an "Honesty Box" attached to the side of our games shelf so please put your entry fee in there.
We thank you hugely for your support.
⚠️ Lastly, the Golden Lion are extremely generous to us by giving us their function room every single Monday. With that in mind, please look after the space. Please take glasses down with you & clear all your rubbish & if you move tables & chairs, please put them back the way you found them at the end of the night 🙏
Thank you all & game on 🎲
Monday games (beginner friendly)
Come and play board games! Join us for tabletop board and card games such as Just One, Colt Express, Saboteur, Potion Explosion and Wingspan.
Monday nights are aimed at welcoming players who are new to modern board games. We always try to make sure that someone is happy to teach games and welcome new people on the night, so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with.
We don't charge a fee for attending the Meetup, but you will need to pay the venue's game session fee of £8 per person (unless you have a Gold or VIP [Ludoquist membership](https://www.theludoquist.com/collections/membership-2022)).
Please arrive by 18:50 in time for everyone to get into groups for the main games to start at 19:00.
We will start arriving from 18:30 if anyone wants to join early for short games and chat.
All attendees are expected to read and follow [our Code of Conduct](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qnLRLEV6whNYpiBu1mqsBaI6CjhbsC6Ersgwj0BCMSg/edit?usp=share_link) and [our Meetup Rules](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QorSIT3I3YA70ClL825cpMlHWWehpiVrrisy_J6zjFE/edit?usp=share_link).
Please remember to update your RSVP promptly if you can't make it and please don't attend unless you are confirmed as attending.
Feel free to ask questions in the event comments, or direct message one of the hosts.
You're also invited to [join our Discord server](https://discord.gg/rWh8aSA) for game related chat and for arranging games outside the Meetup events.
Arkham Horror - The Initiation
This is our regular drop-in campaign meetup.
We recommend bringing a couple of decks so people can arrange Investigator teams. We will have some of the starter decks available for play on the evening.
You can read more about this at https://www.theludoquist.com/blogs/investigating-insanity-arkham-horror-lcg-blog/arkham-horror-drop-in-campaigns

Boardgames at The Greyhound, Kew
We’re a small, friendly, long-running group (we've been going since around 2012) that meets upstairs at the Greyhound every Monday, playing **medium-to-heavy games** from around 7:00pm to 10:30pm (or until the final victory points are counted). Think less Ticket to Ride, more Ark Nova / Dune Imperium / Great Western Trail end of the spectrum.
Newcomers are welcome and there are no charges or entrance fees but we do ask that you support the pub by buying drinks and/or food from the bar as they kindly allow us to use the upstairs room without charge.
We **meet shortly before 7pm** in the upstairs room (the stairs are behind the bar). The upstairs room is a lovely venue: plenty of table space, good lighting, and we’ve been established there since 2020. The pub has recently changed owners, but the new management is happy for us to continue and even throws in a **20% food discount**. The pub currently stays open until around 10.30pm on Mondays. Parking is free around Kew Green on Monday evenings, except on Event nights. Public transport via Kew station or the many buses that run through Kew Green is convenient also.
We also run a **WhatsApp chat group** for members to chat, we will add you to the WhatsApp group when you attend and enjoy the first evening.
Feel free to bring games, there is usually a good selection on offer from the regular attendees.
We also have a BGG guild [BGG](https://boardgamegeek.com/guild/1140), which is mostly in legacy mode at this point, but the older posts should give you a decent snapshot of our meta and the kinds of games that hit the table.
Looking forward to rolling some dice, shuffling some decks, and arguing politely about rules interpretations.

Weekly Gaming at the Bedford
Welcome to the world of board gaming, if you’ve been before you know the score! If it’s your first time, please remember to read the description and rules, we don’t have many but there are some.
We are a group of people who like to play (or learn) modern board games. From the highly technical to the simplest of games, from the seasoned gamer to the first timer, all are welcome. We cater for nearly all modern games as per our rules. We would be delighted if you wanted to join us, please don't fret if there is a long waitlist, this tends to disappear a day or two before the event, sometimes even on the day, so keep an eye out. Come have a drink, meet like minded friendly people and let the battles commence.
If you have a game you would like to play, please mention it in the comments and see if others would like to join you. You can join one of the other games mentioned there already or even request that someone brings a game that you would really like to play. If you do bring a game, it would be great if you could teach it, but someone else might know it. If you don’t know the rules to any of the games being played, don’t worry too much, there are some great teachers here and they’ll let you know the rules to any game they’re playing.
It would be best if you could be here by the start time, but if you can’t you could always let people know and they might wait for you to arrive before playing. Otherwise, you might have to wait for people to finish playing before you can join in another game.
If you are new, please look for the person in the hi-vis jacket, or ask for one of the hosts, Rocky, Michele, Rafa or Rakshita and we will make sure you get into a game that suits you and your gaming level.
Please abide by the rules and mostly, have fun!
Coffees & Cards🎲 ☕️🃏 🍰
Hi Everyone,
Please join us for Coffees & Cards Afternoon. This event is also alongside other groups I host.
We’ll meet in a cosy coffee shop for a relaxed afternoon of card/board games and other easygoing games. Please bring a few of your own, as I’ll be focusing more on hosting than providing games.
No pressure, no loud energy just gentle conversation, quiet fun, and friendly faces. Perfect for introverts, shy souls, and anyone who enjoys a calm social space.
Any questions or concerns please do message me. I look forward to meeting you

Klub Miłośników Gier Wszelakich – Gramy w Londynie zaprasza Was do świata, gdzie każda partia to osobna historia, każdy rzut kością to decyzja losu, a każdy stół staje się sceną epickiej rozgrywki.
Czekają na Was:
\*gry pełne emocji i klimatu
Lewisham Polish Centre
Piątek 13 marca 2026
Start: 19:15
Gdy zapadnie wieczór, zapalą się światła nad planszami, a miasto ucichnie, rozpocznie się noc, w której strategia spotyka przeznaczenie.
Bo w piątek trzynastego nie chodzi o pecha.
Chodzi o historię, którą rozegracie razem przy jednym stole.
