Trustworthy AI Circle. Trust or verify? How to navigate confidence in LLM output
Trustworthy AI Circle. Trust or verify? How to navigate confidence in LLM output
Please register at **https://luma.com/qh0g4i81** to receive the details about event location. # LLM tools have become the default solution for everyday translation tasks — fast, convenient, and often surprisingly good. But when accuracy really matters — legal documents, brand messaging, or customer communication — most professionals still hesitate to fully trust the output. This Trustworthy AI Circle round looks at a practical question: How can we make AI translation reliable enough for real business use – without introducing lengthy and expensive human-in-the-loop setups traditional agencies use? Together with experts from **Supertext** we will look at a practical near-instant verification flow. We will approach the solution from two perspectives: business value from a marketing leadership viewpoint and practical implementation from an operational one. The discussion will explore where these perspectives align - and where they collide - in building trustworthy solutions that continuously improve the underlying AI model.

Join us for a special SEOnerdSwitzerland at On Headquarters in Zurich with Marilena Pixner and Rana Quba Chamsi . 💬 Talks in English, Q&A & Networking: German, English, French 📅 April 21st 📍 Zurich: On Labs Zürich, Förrlibuckstrasse 190 💬 **Insights from On's journey on optimizing for AI search** **🎤 Speaker - Marilena Pixner** This session shares insights from On's journey on optimizing for AI search, providing a practical framework to boost visibility and earn recommendations. You’ll receive actionable insights on how to: * **Build** a technical foundation for comprehension * **Create** authoritative content to foster credibility * **Drive** digital PR to establish consensus 🔗 [Connect with Marilena on Linkedin](https://www.linkedin.com/in/marilena-pixner-111bab199/). **💬 Technical SEO Audits & Monitoring in the Age of AI** **🎤 Speaker - Rana Quba Chamsi, PhD** AI is becoming part of the SEO toolkit, but when it comes to Technical SEO, most people are asking the wrong question. The problem isn’t what AI can do, it’s what AI thinks it can do. Large language models often give confident but incorrect answers about how websites are structured, rendered, or parsed. Ask them how they extract content from a page, and you’ll get a plausible explanation, not necessarily a correct one. They may claim to interpret JavaScript, structured data, or DOM elements reliably, while in reality their access is limited, inconsistent, or dependent on simplified retrieval methods. This creates a dangerous gap between perceived and actual capabilities, especially for audits and monitoring. In this talk, we’ll break down: * where AI genuinely adds value in Technical SEO workflows * where it fails (and why) from hallucinations to outdated assumptions * how to validate AI outputs using real-world tooling and data sources * and how to design a hybrid approach combining AI, MCPs, and browser automation tools like Playwright The future of Technical SEO isn’t AI vs humans, it’s knowing exactly when not to trust AI. 🔗 [Connect with Rana Quba Chamsi on Linkedin](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ranachamsi/) **Details** 17:45 - 18:00 Doors open 18:00 - 19:30 Welcome & talks 19:30 - 20:30 Socializing & Apero 😋 20:30 Goodbye & Good Night 💛 SEOnerdSwitzerland is a non-profit association since 2019. Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit - Barret Blake
Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit - Barret Blake
Spec-driven development flips the traditional workflow on its head: instead of code being the source of truth, the specification becomes the backbone of design, collaboration, and delivery. In this session, we’ll explore how GitHub Spec-Kit enables teams to treat specifications as first-class artifacts—living documents that drive architecture, implementation, and verification. You’ll learn how Spec-Kit helps teams clearly express intent using structured, version-controlled specs that live alongside code. We’ll walk through a practical workflow that starts with defining system behavior and constraints, then progressively refines those specs into testable, automatable outcomes. Along the way, we’ll show how specs can reduce ambiguity, improve cross-functional collaboration, and make design decisions explicit before a single line of production code is written. This talk will cover: --What spec-driven development is (and what it isn’t) --How GitHub Spec-Kit fits into modern developer workflows --Using specs to align product, engineering, and AI-assisted development --Real-world examples of turning specs into implementations with confidence Whether you’re building greenfield systems, integrating AI into your stack, or trying to reduce costly rework, spec-driven development offers a scalable way to move faster without sacrificing clarity. Attendees will leave with concrete patterns and a clear mental model for adopting GitHub Spec-Kit in their own projects.

Earth Day Along The Potomac On The C&O Canal, Maryland
Celebrate Earth Day with Sierra Club Potomac Region Outings on a hike along the Potomac River at the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park in scenic Frederick County, Maryland. Once proposed as a paved asphalt 185 long parkway, the beautiful and historic C&O Canal was protected in its natural state by Supreme Court Justice William Douglas and others who were motivated by the same community spirit that created Earth Day on April 22, 1970. Our Sierra Club PRO hike will start at Point of Rocks and go upstream along the Potomac River to our turnaround point at Catoctin Creek Aqueduct. Hiking distance: 7 miles over the totally flat C&O Canal towpath, which is also part of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail. Meet at 10:30AM at the west end of the Point of Rocks Train Station Parking Lot near the Point of Rocks Community Commons Park. Bring a daypack, hiking boots, lunch, trail snacks, and two quarts of water. Leader: Glenn Gillis 571-217-4477 and Gary Kosciusko 703-946-8111.

Automating AWS with PowerShell: A Practical Guide v2
📝 **Synopsis:** Ever wonder how to wrangle AWS resources from the comfort of your PowerShell console? Join us as we explore AWS Tools for PowerShell and see how they can make your cloud management tasks easier, faster, and far more repeatable. 📘 **Description:** In this hands-on session, we’ll start from the ground up by setting up the AWS CLI, installing the necessary modules, and walking through the different ways to authenticate securely. From there, we’ll show you how to seamlessly move between accounts and efficiently search for the resources you need without the usual friction. Once the foundation is in place, we’ll dive into real-world scenarios. You’ll see practical examples of spinning up EC2 instances, managing S3 buckets, creating IAM users, invoking Lambda functions, and querying CloudWatch logs—all from PowerShell scripts you can take home and use immediately. We’ll keep things practical and engaging with live demos that highlight both quick wins and the inevitable “gotchas.” Whether you’re just getting started with AWS automation or looking to level up your scripting game, you’ll walk away with working code examples, best practices, and tips for troubleshooting when things don’t go quite as planned. 📰 **Extra credit:** Bring your questions, your war stories, and your curiosity. This is a space for PowerShell enthusiasts to learn, share, and build together.

We are always welcoming. Our format is great for people who have started on but not finished one or several side projects. We will start off with basic introductions and what we are working on, along with what our goals are for the session. We’ll break the rest of the meeting into two working sessions. In between, we’ll do a quick check-in to see how folks are going. We also have some polls available which we use to shape our events: [https://submatrix.net/article/Meetups/e9ym4fr8Ca](https://submatrix.net/article/Meetups/e9ym4fr8Ca) You can also find or RSVP to our events on these platforms: https://luma.com/vw8ha8bj https://www.linkedin.com/events/7444552350616272896
