AI Breakfast Vienna #1
AI Breakfast Vienna #1
**Update**: due to the high number of interested parties, we have had to change the venue to Cafe Museum on Karlsplatz. New year, new format. With the **AI Breakfast**, we’re creating a San-Francisco-style morning gathering for the Austrian AI ecosystem: casual, high-signal, no stage, no slides — just real conversations. This is an open exchange for decision-makers, deep tech builders, Clawdbotlers, founders, CIOs, researchers, public sector innovators and anyone actively shaping AI. Corporate meets startup, policy meets engineering, research meets product. The goal is simple: meaningful connections, sharp discussions, and cross-pollination of ideas — before 9am. Breakfast is ordered at your own expense. The table is reserved under **Cristian Hofmann** / **AI Austria**. Seats are limited. Your host Cristian Hofmann, Amin Khater & Ruben Hetfleisch will welcome you. 👉 Please only RSVP if you truly plan to attend 🙂
Neurodivergent Parents of Vienna - Meetup
Neurodivergent Parents of Vienna - Meetup
**You’re neurodivergent? A parent? In Vienna?** Parenting can be a lot — and even more so when your brain works a little differently. But you don’t have to be alone with this. Don’t miss the upcoming meetup for neurodivergent parents — kids play, adults connect. Gentle space, real talk, no pressure 🌱 📍 Join us in Stadt Park Your host: Jennifer M.S. Granic, a mother of two — 14 and 4-year-old — kids and an educator both freelance and for the Bildungsdirektion Wien. **✨ What to expect:** * A relaxed, peer-led hangout — not a workshop, not a therapy session. * Conversations that ebb and flow naturally, shaped by whoever’s present. * A child-friendly setting that still centers adult connection. * Space to be quiet or chatty, tired or upbeat — all modes welcome. * English-speaking, but language fluency isn’t a requirement. Deutsch reden wir sicher auch. * Bring a blanket and some snacks, and whatever makes you feel comfortable. Let’s make space for each other — and for ourselves. 🌿 ℹ️ **ALL INFO: PLEASE READ THE GROUP DESCRIPTION** ℹ️ See you soon!

Shoot Vienna: Donaukanal
Shoot Vienna: Donaukanal
Now that the sun is making a return, I'm organising a workshop along the banks of the Donaukanal, taking in the people sitting on its banks, the graffiti & street art, buildings, and reflections that can be captured along the water. The workshop features an introductory presentation on street photography of approx. 15 mins, along with tips along the way from a photographer featured by The Guardian, BBC and Time Out. This will be an opportunity to meet with other photographers, and to learn about street photography, for those who are interested in the medium. All are welcome - whether you're a tourist or a local. We'll set off from Stephansplatz, then towards Schwedenplatz, followed by a walk along the Donaukanal. All events take place in English. * Mobile phone (to contact me if you get lost!) * Warm clothing and comfortable shoes * 50 cent coins may be required for use of toilets * Any kind of camera as long as you know how to use it (it’s not a workshop on how to use a camera): digital, analogue, mobile phone Cost: €20 per person (€18 Early Bird if booked before 9 March 11:59PM) + fee by Paypal

Run+B-fast
Run+B-fast
Hi Running fellows, Whether you’re a walker, new to running, a semi-pro, a marathonist or a sprint star - if you want to start your weekend in an active way and enjoy the outdoors in lovely surroundings with a fun, international and multilingual group of people, you are welcome to join us! Every Saturday at 9:30 am, we meet, we run, in the magnificent Schönbrunn park, and then we go for breakfast. Want to discuss politics or the best recipes for banana pancakes? Not a problem. Not feeling social? Tune out with your earbuds - we can talk over breakfast. We are casual. You can be too. What to expect: Start by meeting Adrian, Ali, Liz, Paul and Sonia on-time at 9:30am outside the Schönbrunn U-Bahn stop (exit Grünbergstraße). (Coordinates: 48.1858130, 16.3200640) From there, we walk to the side park entrance where the “running” part begins. The important thing is that you run at your own pace. Typically, small groups of people will run at the same pace as you, so you never have to walk/run alone :) We finish one hour later, at about 10:40am, reconvening just inside the Hietzinger Tor exit. (Coordinates: 48.1858825, 16.3032647). From there, we’re off to breakfast! Breakfast Details: Anker bakery opposite the U4 Hietzing station and depending on the weather, grab something for a picnic in Schönbrunn park, or hang out in the bakery. If you missed us earlier, you can always go there around 10:45. We are a fun group of runners who don’t take things too seriously. We meet, chat, RUN, stretch, chat, EAT and we hang out over a beer every now and then. It's that easy. Please join us for breakfast after the run! The more the merrier. Typically we are 10-30 people, as not everyone who comes signs up on meetup. Important disclaimer: Please only run as much as you feel you can, considering the temperature, weather conditions, your own fitness etc... run and walk at your own pace as the organizers do not assume any liability for any injuries or health issues. Sonia, Adrian, Ali, Paul and Liz

Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. If you do not have a racket, it is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes the host or other members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below! If you are joining our events for the first time, WELCOME! Let the host know that you are new and they will find a place for you. Don't worry, we are an open and friendly group.
