## What we'll do $26 per person for 2 hours of training (includes table hire) The sound of the ball, the paddle in your hand – playing table tennis is simply fun. Although often wrongly disregarded by the sports fans around the world, this physical activity will keep your body, mind, and spirit extra fit. You will be attending a group session which is currently held every Monday at MSAC in Albert Park. This will give you an insight of what is involved and how we run our sessions. This particular session for you will be divided into 2 parts. The first part will involve different group activities focusing on different table tennis shots while playing with other meet up attendees. This will give you a chance to get to know each other as well as improve your table tennis skills together. The second part will involve the whole group which include both regular weekly players and meet up attendees. You will continue to do different activities as well as play matches in a fun and enjoyable way. The session will be led by myself and another highly qualified victorian state coach. Dress in comfortable clothes and runners. Balls and bats are provided but feel free to bring your own bat. Meet us at the Table Tennis Hall and ask for Peter when you arrive. NOTE: If this is not your first time coming to this meet up, the cost is $36 for the whole 2 hours.

Depression, Anxiety, Stress and worry are real concerns when we consider mental health. What causes the overwhelming sadness, the insomnia, the frightening panic attacks, the lack of energy, the mental fatigue and nervousness experienced by so many people. https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/2/8/1/0/600_459310256.jpeg Even a temporary state of stress can affect our ability to reason and result in actions or decisions that have disastrous long-term results. What is it that is holding you back and stops you from being YOU? Quality of life depends so much on mental health. People desire happiness but authentic happiness is often short-lived. Sometimes only a dim memory from childhood. Children are known for their ability to find joy in the simplest of things. What is it that affects a person's ability to experience true happiness? The Circumstances are the same, but the person no longer responds with positive emotions. Instead he or she may have a persistent gnawing anger, fear or sadness that depresses the consciousness and brings the person to reliance on pills or alcohol. The change may be gradual, occurring slowly over many years or it can be sudden, triggered by a traumatic stress such as the death of a loved one or a broken heart. The answer to these problems has been searched for for thousands of years but the problem appears to getting worse, with the rates of depression and suicide climbing alarmingly. Very few lives remain unaffected either directly or indirectly by these modern scourges. Could it be that the modern "treatments" and "solutions" to these problems are actually making things worse? That could only occur if the people developing and using these "treatments" did not know the true underlying reason for these problems. Today's meetup topic is based on Dianetics, The Modern Science of Mental Health by L. Ron Hubbard We will discuss the underlying reason for depression, anxiety, fear, nervousness, unhappiness, phobias and many other unwanted emotions and reactions as revealed and is fully explained in L. Ron Hubbard's book Dianetics. Life can become fun again, just like it was when you were a child. Hard to Believe? Well don't believe - find out for yourself and then you will KNOW. **Two Ferries for Two Rides**: Let's take the **fast ferry** from Docklands to Portarlington and ride 34km via St Leonards to Queenscliff for the **car ferry** to Sorrento then ride the remaining 50km to Frankston. (More after Franky if you like) ================================ We'll have mild temperatures and southwesterly winds in our face on the Bellarine Peninsula but those winds will help us from Sorrento to Frankston: https://reg.bom.gov.au/places/vic/portarlington/forecast/detailed/#d2026-01-28 The high speed ferry arrives in Portarlington about 10:40am and we can expect to make the Queenscliff ferry departing at 1pm. This is a free, in person meeting. Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse. Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well.
