**Would you like to learn badminton and finally hit the shuttle properly?** Our beginner training is exactly what you’re looking for! In small groups of up to 4 people, you will learn the basics step by step: * proper footwork * your first shots to simple game situations * how to serve properly * the game rules * and much, much more! *Recommendation:* Since you learn and build knowledge together as a group, **attending at least 4 consecutive sessions is ideal**. This way, you can grow as a team, benefit from each other, and make faster progress. **Who is this training for?** Anyone with little or no prior experience, but a willingness to learn how to properly play badminton! Hi everyone, On **Sunday, June 14th, 2026**, I'm planning a scenic circular hike from **Payerbach** with beautiful views of **Rax** and **Schneeberg**. This hike is all about walking and experiencing the landscape together, with plenty of time for conversation, short breaks, and simply being outdoors. **Hike Details:** **Distance:** approx. 12 km **Elevation Gain:** approx. 550 m **Walking Time:** approx. 5 hours **Difficulty:** While the hike is technically mostly easy, please make sure you are comfortable with the fitness requirements of the distance combined with the elevation gain. For many participants, the **VOR Freizeit-Ticket** may be a good option. We aim to catch the train departing **Payerbach at 16:57** back to Vienna. **What to expect** * We will walk together at a relaxed, social pace and stay as a group throughout the day. * This is not a race or a performance hike. As long as you have the basic fitness required for this route, the focus is on shared experience, conversation, and enjoying the landscape at an unhurried pace. * We will take regular short breaks whenever useful. * We do not plan to stop at huts or restaurants during the hike, so please bring your own food and drinks (approximately **2 litres** of water recommended). * Weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains, so basic rain protection is recommended. * Please wear sturdy **hiking shoes**. Mt Kilimanjaro, as the tallest mountain in Africa, is included in the 7 Summits of the world.** **It is a bucket-list item for all hard-core hikers and mountain lovers.** We did this trek with Meetup in the summer of 2024 and it was a true experience of a lifetime (see photos below) Let's get to some numbers. It is 5,895m/19,340ft BUT . . . our starting elevation for the trek is 3795m/12541ft As such elevation gain is 2100m/6799ft To compare Everest Base Camp trek, is about 2754m/9035ft elevation change. And Mt Whitney is about 1828m/6000ft elevation change. The key to being able to succeed in this endeavor lays in the route and the support system. We are taking the Lemosho Route via the Northern Circuit. The Northern Circuit route is the longest and newest of the seven established Kilimanjaro routes. It's one of the best routes because it has the best acclimatization profile. This results in one of the highest summit success rates. Add to that stunning views, and comparatively relaxed pace. It is also much less crowded than the other Kilimanjaro routes. As far as our support system: We will be accompanied by experienced guides, porters and cooks. They are certified, ensuring our safety and comfort. Porters will carry our gear. We will have a high ratio of guides to hikers. Our guides will go our pace and support each and everyone of us, regardless of fitness level and pace. In other words...you go your own speed and we all get there safe. More about our trek/trip. It's one of the best routes because it has the best acclimatization profile. This results in one of the highest summit success rates. Add to that stunning views, and comparatively relaxed pace. It is also much less crowded than the other Kilimanjaro routes. As far as our support system: We will be accompanied by experienced guides, porters and cooks. They are certified, ensuring our safety and comfort. Porters will carry our gear. We will have a high ratio of guides to hikers. As with all our international trips, we picked the best season/time of year to go for weather and wildlife. Lemosho and Northern Circuit is a scenically spectacular and varied route. Nestled in Potomac, Maryland, Glenstone is a unique destination where art, architecture, and nature blend together in a beautifully designed space meant for reflection and exploration. **Admission tickets are reserved; please only RSVP if you are committed to attending and arriving on time.
