If you have an exam coming up, we can speak about your exam subjects some of the time.
Small donations (10-20 kroner) are appreciated, to support the rent of the place.
You find us in the basement of Korsgade 19. It is a door to the right of the main entrance.

**1️⃣ Product-centric AI Chat Assistant for Clinical Trials**
StudyHub is a suite of Digital Products centered around improving the the planning of Clinical Trials within Novo Nordisk through the use of Agentic AI.
One of the central components in StudyHub is an AI Chat Assistant that is fully integrated into the application, allowing users to get help and make changes within the context of what they are working on.
In this session we will dive into how we created this AI Chat Assistant, the technical foundation and the learnings along the way.
**2️⃣ Building Multi‑Agent Systems with Practical Orchestration Patterns**
This session explores how different orchestration patterns shape the behavior, collaboration, and performance of AI agents in real applications. Using a hands‑on Python framework for multi‑agent orchestration , this demo will show how each pattern solves a different class of problems. You’ll see how the template structures agents, tools, messaging, and shared state, and how these components can be adapted to build your own agentic workflows. This session is designed for anyone curious about building reliable, modular, and scalable agent systems on top of modern LLM platforms.

Wild Technology (!) — Bioengineering, Enhancement, Acceleration & Future Humans
**“Wild Technology (!) — Beyond AI, Beyond Control?”**
Bioengineering, Enhancement, Acceleration, and the Future of Being Human
Technology is no longer just something we *use*. It’s something that reshapes bodies, minds, and even evolution itself. From gene editing and brain–computer interfaces to synthetic life and runaway AI, we’re entering a phase where the boundaries of the human are no longer fixed.
This isn’t a futurist hype session or a tech demo. It’s a philosophical conversation about limits, responsibility, and what it means to remain human in a world of radical technological power.
***
**Topics we’ll touch on:**
* Beyond AI: bioengineering, gene editing, and human enhancement
* Are we improving humanity—or redesigning it?
* Who gets access to enhancement—and who is left behind?
* Is there such a thing as “playing God,” or is that fear outdated?
* Do moral limits still apply when technology moves faster than ethics?
* What happens when evolution becomes a design choice?
* And finally… is there a point where technology stops serving life—and starts redefining it?
Casual discussion. No technical background required—just curiosity and a willingness to think boldly and carefully at the same time. Whether you feel excited, uneasy, inspired, or alarmed—you’re not alone.
Let’s explore the edge of the possible—and ask where, if anywhere, we should draw the line.
Café Philo Copenhagen
We meet on Saturdays late mornings to have a casual, meaningful conversation on topics of interest to everyone chosen on the spot by majority voting. So please feel free to propose your own topic!
Everyone is welcome to talk, but if you prefer to just join and listen, that is perfect too.
As the contacted cafés usually only give reservations to eating guests, it is very welcome if you order something to eat during our stay. This is however not mandatory.
This event is in English.
The exact place can still change.
Speed Portrait & Cocktails
Stop by and meet people in a positive and save space, very Friday at 8:30 pm just after our abstract workshop we start our **Speed Portrait and Cocktails event.** Before continuing your journey into the vibrant Copenhagen we invite you for a creative stop, to develop some quality interaction and create a truly hygge atmosphere in an artistic space.
Set in a contemporary art gallery turned into a creative studio for the night, our **Speed portrait & cocktails** event blends with the city night life adding to Copenhagen artistic vibe and cozy atmosphere. An event that mixes caribbean hospitality, minimal aesthetic and Copenhagen coziness. As well we offer locals and temporary locals an artistic retreat from the intensity of the city.
Note: Some materials are free but not the drinks.
Philosophy - What Is Happiness?
**How can I live a happy life?**
**What kind of person should I be?**
**The Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle is a self-help book written in the fourth century BC and a masterpiece of Western philosophy.**
**We are reading it slowly together, discussing and commenting on it as we go along.**
**No previous knowledge or preparation is necessary.**

Cocktails & Collage Night: A Hygge Creative Workshop
Escape the winter chill and immerse yourself in an evening of creativity, conversation, and coziness. Join us for a **Cocktails & Collage** a seasonal gathering that celebrates Danish *hygge* through drinks and imaginative art-making.
Set in a contemporary art gallery turned into a creative studio for the night, you’ll begin with a delicious cocktail or a glass of wine and even alcohol-free option will be available.
Once you test our cocktails you can settle into a candlelit workspace stocked with vintage magazines, colorful papers, fabrics, and other tactile treasures. A collage artist will guide the group through a meditative cut-and-paste flow where you’ll create a visual piece rooted in seasonal themes like winter coziness, Copenhagen memories, or dream landscapes.
Whether you come with friends or on your own, this cozy and creative evening will leave you inspired, relaxed, and ready for winter.
The bar will keep open for those who want to explore more of our cocktail menu
Note: The event is free but does not include the drinks

Prompt vs. Paintbrush
AI is changing how art is made. But when does it stop being your work and start being the machine’s?
This month we're going to be doing a panel with with digital image, music, and written word artists, talking about at what point, while using AI in the creation process, does the work become not the artist creation?
We encourage audience participation during this event that will be moderated by Chris Slee.
Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus.

Drunken
This month's prompt concerns the idea of the “warrior philosopher” (seemed appropriate in these times)--that is someone whose understanding of violence, power, and justice is forged through direct experience of war. We are looking at Major General Smedley D. Butler, a highly decorated U.S. Marine raised in a Quaker (pacifist) tradition who later became a prominent critic of American militarism (there is a wonderful biography of Gen. Butler called "Gangsters of Capitalism")
Butler's argument in *War Is a Racket* (1935): that many U.S. interventions were driven less by national defense than by corporate and financial interests, with Butler portraying himself as an enforcer for business and Wall Street. We can consider the moral ambiguity of his insider critique—whether complicity strengthens or undermines credibility and also consider some of the concrete reforms he proposed (e.g., “conscript” capital before soldiers, restrict the military to coastal defense, and have only those who fight decide on war).
Butler’s life arc clearly changed from pacifist upbringing to warrior to antiwar crusader—and asks whether true understanding of peace requires firsthand knowledge of war, and what that implies about the cost of suffering. So do we need to suffer to understand suffering? Do we have to experience war to appreciate peace? As one more question: in the movie "A Few Good Men" Jack Nicholson's character says that "you have the luxury of not knowing what I know" so do most of us go through life oblivious to real violence and suffering? See you at Drunken Philosophy!
