Speaker: **Luka Karlić** Title: **My first anniversary with Claude Code - am I still in the honeymoon phase?** In this talk, Luka will take us through his first year of (power)using Claude Code - what worked, what didn’t. How does he keep learning instead of just producing? What about critical thinking? Expect a fair amount of rambling about harness, scaffolding, memory, even brain-atrophy. Last but not least - why, to him, this is both the easiest and the hardest time to be an engineer. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- Drinks and friendly discussion afterwards at [Buzz Bar](https://maps.app.goo.gl/e8dCmPL5ZBhzua717) 🍻🍷🥤☕️

Vibe Coders Croatia × UXR Zagreb powered by Reactor Studio
Vibe Coders Croatia × UXR Zagreb powered by Reactor Studio
Meetup #2 for **Vibe Coders Croatia** — this time we're joining forces with **[UXR Zagreb](https://www.meetup.com/ux-research-zg/)**. Two communities that usually sit on opposite ends of the product — the people who *talk to users* and the people who *ship to them* — in one room for a night. The bet: vibe coders move fast and build, UX researchers know *what's actually worth building and why*. Put them together and you get a sharper loop — research that ships, and shipping that's grounded in real user evidence. Two talks, both in Croatian, one from each side of that table, then the hallway conversations where the next side project (and your next user interview) starts. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- 📣 **From Insights to Infrastructure: Expanding UXR Impact with AI** AI changes how everything in software development works — including research. This talk walks through applications of AI across the research process, from organizing recruitment and analysis to bridging insight and delivery, and makes the case that researchers now have the opportunity to shift from *delivering insights* to *owning research infrastructure*. **Filip Užarević**, User Researcher * [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/filip-uzarevic-b4b87584/) \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- 📣 **Is Documentation Dead or More Alive Than Ever?** AI generates docs in seconds, but the code those docs describe changes just as fast, which makes stale documentation a *bigger* problem, not a smaller one. This talk explores why the AI era demands a different approach to documentation, and looks at Tesso, a tool that connects documentation to the actual code written by AI and humans alike — so the docs and the codebase stop drifting apart. **Danijel Buhin**, Software Engineer * [LinkedIn](https://linkedin.com/in/danijelbuhin) \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- 🗣️ Both talks will be held in Croatian. 📹 Not recorded or streamed this time — you have to be in the room. 🪑 There are a limited number of seats, first come, first served. 📍**Location**: **Zadarska ulica 80, 6th floor — Reactor Studio.** Use the main entrance on the right side of the building. If you're driving, the Lidl parking lot nearby is your best bet, or grab any free spot around the buildings.

Join us for **BipTalks Engineering Meetup**, where we’ll explore how AI technologies perform once they leave the sandbox and enter real-world systems, through two first-hand talks. From the MCP protocol that can turn your existing API into an agentic service, to using LLMs effectively to build tools that solve problems reliably and efficiently — both talks offer concrete, actionable knowledge drawn from production experience. 💡 **What to expect:** * **Real-world insights from production** — Both talks are grounded in hands-on experience. No theory for theory's sake — only what actually worked (and what didn't). * **Concrete tools you can use right away** — Learn how to turn an existing API into an MCP server and how to use LLMs to build solutions that work every time. * **A clearer view of software development with fast-evolving protocols** — Understand how to make architectural decisions in an environment where standards and tools shift week to week. 🎤 **Speaker: Filip Pankretić, Junior Software Engineer @ Infobip** Filip is a Junior Software Engineer at Infobip with a deep passion for machine learning. He works with voice models — teaching them how to listen, and sometimes how to respond. He helped open Infobip's platform to AI agents worldwide using MCPs, giving them communication superpowers. 🎤 **Speaker: Filip Srnec, Principal Engineer @ Infobip** Mathematician, engineer, father, and husband. At Infobip, Filip currently leads the MCP initiative with the goal of opening the communications platform to the agentic world. He has worked on challenging projects across diverse areas — from scientific computing to scalable distributed systems and API governance. He has spoken at conferences including Devoxx UK and Infobip Shift, and teaches at the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science as an external associate. After the official part of the program, stay with us for **great conversations and refreshments** 🍕🥤 🎟️The event is **free**, but the spots are limited so please register here: [Bip Talks Zagreb - Infobip](https://www.infobip.com/hr/c/biptalks-engineering-meetup-zagreb)

UXR Zagreb × Vibe Coders Croatia - powered by Reactor Studio
\*\*\* **Raspored** 18:00 - Uvod u temu 👋 18:15 - 19:30 - Predavanja + diskusija💡 19:30 - XX:XX - Networking + drinks 🧋 \*\*\* **Sažeci predavanja** **From Insights to Infrastructure: Expanding UXR Impact with AI** AI changes how everything in software development works, including research. Antistresna meditacija / Stress-relief Meditation
Stress is the body’s readiness to react suddenly to difficulties and unexpected situations that provoke fear and tension. It is a state of mind in which we perceive circumstances negatively — as something we must endure, and as part of our everyday life. In our Stress-relief Meditation, we help the mind and body cope with stress, restore our energy, and develop a new relationship with stressful situations.

AI Agents 101: How to Make ChatGPT Do Actual Work
AI Agents 101: How to Make ChatGPT Do Actual Work
Most people still use AI like a search box: type one question, get one answer, repeat. But the next step is AI agents: systems that can take a goal, break it into steps, use tools, remember context, and produce useful work for a human to review. In this beginner-friendly session, we’ll demystify what AI agents actually are — without hype or jargon. We’ll walk through practical examples of how agents can help with research, planning, writing, coding, operations, and personal productivity. We’ll cover: * What makes an AI “agent” instead of just a chatbot * How agents break tasks into steps * Where agents are genuinely useful today * Where they fail, hallucinate, or need human review * How to design simple AI workflows for your own work * A live demo of an AI agent-style workflow from start to finish No coding experience required. This is for anyone who wants to understand where AI tools are going and how to use them more effectively right now. LOGISTICS AND PARKING: The talk starts at 7:00 PM. The first half hour is reserved for everyone to get set up and mingle. Free pizza and drinks! The cheapest parking option is to find street parking, which will only cost you a few bucks. Otherwise, park in the nearby veteran's museum lot for $8. It's highly recommended you avoid the nearby $15 garage parking.
Claude Code with Unity
Claude Code with Unity
A session on using Claude Code, Anthropic's AI coding agent, in real Unity development. We'll cover what coding agents are, where Claude Code fits, and how to apply it to an actual game project. The format is presentation-style, with live demos and time for questions throughout. After brief scene-setting on coding agents and what makes Claude Code distinct, we'll go problem-driven: demoing it live on a released Unity game and introducing each feature as a solution to a problem we hit. What to Expect: * An intro to coding agents and where Claude Code fits * A live demo on a real Unity project * Key features as solutions to real problems: 𝖢𝖫𝖠𝖴𝖣𝖤.𝗆𝖽, context management, hooks, skills, subagents, and MCP * Unity-specific pain points, including Domain Reload and MCP caveats * Putting it together All experience levels welcome. Food and drinks provided. *Note: meetup topics may change — check back for the latest details.*

**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** *Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code* Visual Studio Code is one of the most widely used development environments today, and much of its flexibility comes from its extension ecosystem. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. We’ll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options. **YouTube Link** TBD
