Can't let the snowfall go to waste, hence, we are going tobogganing. Let's connect with our 8 year old selves and make this snowy Saturday adventurous and magical! The plan - Slide down the hill and then climb up to slide down again. Skills needed - 1. Ability to scream your lungs out. 2. Ability to fall not-so-gracefully Things you need - 1. A sled, tobogganing mat (Canadian Tire has some under $10), or anything that helps you slide down. 2. Snow pants are recommended 3. Boots with good grip are also a great idea. 4. Something to cover your mouth, again optional but good to have. We’ll take turns racing down the hill, cheer each other on, pause for breath and just enjoy being outside together. After this event, for the magical part (for whoever's interested), we will head towards Trillium Park to see the light displays (another event from our meet up group). On the way we will stop to grab a bite, hot chocolate and coffee.

This time we’re mixing things up with some indoor pickleball followed by grabbing some food together! Here’s what to expect 👇 * We will meet at **6:30 PM** inside the mall, just outside the entrance for the Rally club at 2225 Erin Mills Parkway. We will meet outside the entrance. * The cost is **$15 per person**, which you will pay directly at the venue. This is the venue price. * Don't worry about bringing equipment—paddles/bats are available there. * **Never played before? No problem!** This event is mainly for newbies, and one of our members has kindly offered to teach you the basics. Even I havent played this game before. * After we wrap up our games, we will head out to grab some dinner/food together nearby. We are going to Chinatown to their New Year's festival. We will first meet INSIDE St. Patrick subway station where you pay your fare. We will then take a short walk around Chinatown to learn some interesting facts about Chinese customs and food. Then we will go to "Chinatown Centre" where they're having Chinese performances including music, dance and craft booths. You can stay in Chinatown afterwards yourself and go to eat at some of places that were pointed out on the walk. This is a free event. You MUST meet us at the subway otherwise it will be too hard to find us at the festival. We will be joined by my other meetup group "Walk and Roll".

Join us at our vegan-friendly social climbing session! We welcome all vegans, vegetarians, or anyone who is curious about the lifestyle and/or interested in eating more plant-based. No climbing experience is necessary. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-time climber, all are welcome. We will be bouldering, top roping, and using autobelays - feel free to join whichever activity you're interested in! For those who are climbing for the first time, not to worry as it is quick to pick up and we are happy to provide some pointers on technique. You can boulder or use the autobelays after getting a quick orientation from the staff at the gym. For top roping, we're happy to belay any of our attendees. **Fees**: * $28 admission fee, plus rentals Climbing shoes are strongly recommended (disclaimer: rental shoes are not vegan as they contain suede/leather).
