Join us for a night/evening hike around Churchill park to Trig Point Lookout. Note: The toilet block has been REMOVED from the park. There are a few good hills to get the heart pumping and night time conditions to create a sense of adventure. About the Park: Consisting of woodland and small areas of original forest, Churchill National Park is home to a large Eastern grey kangaroo and Swamp wallaby population. The park is a wonderful display of the original landscape before clearing and settlement. With an abundance of peaceful walking tracks, as well as many jogging and riding tracks, you will likely spot some native wildlife as you venture through the park. Please do not RSVP to any Eastern Hiking & Adventure event unless you are fully committed to attending. It is your responsibility to check the date, distance, and difficulty of the walk before RSVPing. Members who frequently withdraw at the last minute, fail to show up, arrive without being on the "going" list, or behave disrespectfully towards leaders or fellow members will be asked to leave the walk and may be removed from the group. All leaders are unpaid volunteers who invest a great deal of their own time to plan and research each walk. Their efforts deserve respect and consideration. Organisers do their best to minimise waitlists where possible, and priority will be given to reliable members who attend regularly and contribute positively to the group experience. Fitness level: This is a moderately challenging, Grade 3(ish) hike. You need to be in good physical fitness. We are heading to one of the "Pick Your Own" Sunflowers farms near Ballarat. The tickets are limited. Please note that this trip also involves a shared taxi/uber. **Start your long weekend celebrations with a mega mingle.** **Meet new people and find your tribe!** (FREE EVENT). **Melbourne Public** has become a South Wharf mainstay for anyone who enjoys a good pub/sports bar atmosphere but on a much grander scale. Friday night will offer up some great live music and you can expect to hit the dance floor later in the night when the DJ takes the stage (or after one too many espresso martinis! ) We will be located in the **Terrace Area** which is a spacious undercover section (outside on the right hand side) but with easy indoor/bar access and a bit more conversation-friendly than inside.
