Hike: Wong Shek Pier to Sai Wan Pavilion
**Hike: Wong Shek Pier to Sai Wan Pavilion (not suitable for beginners)**
**Difficulty Level:** **3 out of 5**
**Distance:** **12 km (approximate)**
**Time:** **6+ hours (approximate)**
**Description:** **This hike is rated Level 3/5 (Moderate+) and is** **not suitable for beginners**\*\*, as participants must be able to maintain a brisk, steady pace and stay with the group throughout. We will not be able to wait for extended periods for anyone falling behind, so if you need more time or choose to move at a slower pace, you will need to navigate independently. The route offers a scenic coastal experience, starting from Wong Shek Pier and passing through charming villages such as Chek Keng and Ham Tin Wan before reaching the tranquil Sai Wan Beach, where there will be time to relax, swim, or enjoy the sun. The hike continues past the Sai Wan Stargazing Site and Campsite, finishing at the stunning Sai Wan Pavilion with beautiful views, with the highest point reaching 245 meters. Be sure to bring swimwear and some cash for refreshments, as we may stop at local cafés and village stores along the way.\*\*

**Meeting Point:** **7-11 Convenience Store - Sai Kung Pier: N0. 74 Fuk Man Rd. Once everyone arrives, we'll take bus 94 (30-40 min) and then walk about 5 minutes to the pier. If the wait is too long or if we opt for a quicker option, we can hire taxis.**
**Time:** **9:30 am (SHARP!)**
**IMPORTANT:** **Out of respect to the members that arrive on time, we will only be able to wait a maximum of 5 minutes. Should you arrive after 9:35 am, I will no longer be answering phone calls or responding to messages as I need to give my time and attention to those that have arrived on time.**

第一日|基礎建立與交替訓練
1\. 抵達營地後進行安全講解與裝備分配 ➤ 分組交替進行: A組:馬術基礎(上馬姿勢、慢步控馬、平衡訓練) B組:射箭基礎(站姿、拉弓技巧、固定靶射擊) ➤ 兩組交換訓練項目 • 晚上: 團體晚餐 \+ 騎射文化講座/技術覆盤
第二日|整合訓練與沙灘實戰 • 上午: ➤ 射箭強化訓練(移動靶、快速搭箭) ➤ 馬術複習(快步控馬、方向指令) • 下午: ➤ 騎射體驗環節:在教練指導下嘗試慢速騎行中射擊標靶 ➤ 分組海騎訓練:於沙灘進行騎乘適應

Easy Hike: Swim in Whitehead Beach
To enjoy our Sunday with tranquillity, we are going to explore very secluded & peaceful Whitehead beach in Wu Kai Sha, followed by dinner.
My friend and I did a recce there weeks ago. A cozy one-hour walk met with birds and sea. Such calm scenes really smoothed us.
There is a hidden path for our trekking which sent us to the Whitehead beach.We’ll be welcome by a huge stoney heart. Let’s rest there & enjoy our snacks.
Experienced swimmers are welcome to test the aquamarine water. Bring an umbrella & sufficient sports drinks in case, as it’s totally exposed and provides NO support.

Swimming at Three Beaches in Lantau Island
We'll walk five minutes from MTR station to the bus terminus to take 9:25 am No. 11 Bus and get off near Lantau South Police Station.
In the morning, we'll swim at Upper Cheung Sha Beach, Lower Cheung Sha Beach (see photo album), Tong Fuk Beach and have lunch in Tong Fuk Village. We'll spend 30 to 45 minutes at each beach and walk to the next one. If you are a good swimmer. you can swim along the coast, but bring a waterproof bag carrying your stuff while swimming. Then you do not need to go back to take your things.
**Important Notes:**
*You must bring a floating aid. I suggest using a waterproof bag designed for water sports. You will need to keep all your belongings inside the bag and swim with it.
*We will enter the water from the rocky area (as shown in the first photo of the album). Because of the rocks, it is recommended to wear water shoes or rubber-soled shoes (like classic white plimsolls / 白飯魚) to protect your feet
\*What to bring: sunscreen, hat ,mosquito repellent, swimming suit, goggles, rubber-soled shoes and floating aids (must) if you are going to swim in the area without lifeguards.
**DISCLAIMER** For this swimming trip, every member joining accepts this agreement: By joining the events of “Biking Swimming Camping Fun”, all participants are deemed to have agreed to exonerate the leaders, the organizers and any other participants in the events from any liabilities, claims, including but not limited to liabilities and claims as a result of any injuries or deaths or damages or penalties arising thereof. Cheung Chau to Mui Wo Day trip
**Where and when:**
At our base at the Windsurfing centre on Kwun Yam Wan Beach at 10:00 am.
**Who can join:**
Open to members who have attended our Kayaking Essentials or something similar. The route may take us through some choppy waters so you need to be a relatively confident paddler.
**Route:**
We will paddle from our base at Cheung Chau Windsurf Centre to Mui Wo and then back to our base.
The journey is around 20km depending on how much we wish to explore the small nooks and crannies of the coastline.
The seas around Cheung Chau & Lantau in parts, can be quite rough if the wind picks up so please only sign up for this paddle if you are confident paddling in changeable waters.
What to bring:
Wet shoes (closed-toed shoes that will get wet and don't come off when you swim, NO FLIP FLOPS).
Your own lunch and snacks, since there is not always the guarantee of a place to buy food.
Protection from heat stroke and sunburn: hat, protective clothing, 50+ sunscreen, sunglasses.
At least 3 liters of water. Please use reusable bottles to minimize plastic waste.

Please also bring the following -
Sturdy closed-toed shoes that can get wet that will be worn at all times throughout the training session (Crocs DO NOT qualify. Old sneakers/trainers are OK. NO flip flops).
A packed lunch or money for a lunch.
A refillable water bottle (there is clean, drinkable tap water at the kayak base). We strongly discourage the use of packaged water in disposable bottles (I.e. Bonaqua, Evian, etc)
Swimwear, hat, sunglasses and sun protection (long sleeve rash guard or UV resistant shirt highly recommended).
Optional: change of clothes & towel for post-session shower

Hike Blendon Woods Metro Park
Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.
Alum Creek Trail Hike
Join us for a 2.4 mile hike along the Alum Creek Trail south from Casto park to Strawberry Farms park and back. This is a fully paved flat trail along Alum Creek. Come and enjoy a great hike with us!
