Our favourite day of the year is almost here - and in honour of a day that's all about celebrating women's achievements, we're bringing you our biggest event yet. A mixture of social and inspiring, this is an event in three parts that combines all our favourite parts of Girls Who Boss. **Here's the agenda:** 2pm - Arrival 2.30pm - Fireside chat with three women who inspire 3.15pm - Activities, including the trivia and board games you've loved this year 4pm - General mingling, friend-making and networking *About the fun, social side* As with all our events, our focus is still on allowing new friendships to develop, and we'll be running some of our signature activities to help you meet new people. We're bringing along board games, icebreakers, trivia and more to help you move around the room with confidence and make new friends. *About the fireside chat* Our fireside chat is themed "Women Who Inspire", and you'll hear from the following women. **Kathy - Thankly** Kathy is the Re-Founder and Creative Director of Thankly, a Melbourne-based online card and gifting business making gratitude simple, personal, and part of everyday life through handwritten-style cards and thoughtful curated gifts. After 13 years in management consulting and advisory across Deloitte, Accenture, and Microsoft, Kathy stepped away from large-scale transformation and change to question what success, impact, and connection really mean. In 2023, she took a career break to reimagine what truly matters and re-launched Thankly as a part-time, purpose-led venture alongside a co-partner, focused on making “thank you” feel human and easy again. Shaped by personal loss and loneliness, Kathy lost both parents by the age of 21 – experiences that deeply inform her mission. In a country where 1 in 3 Australians report feeling lonely, she believes gratitude can be a powerful bridge back to belonging. At the start of 2025, Kathy became the sole owner of Thankly and stepped into founder life full-time, committing fully to re-imaginig a scalable and sustainable, purpose-led brand founded on gratitude and real human connection in the modern world. **Zoe - Owner and Organiser of Girls Who Boss** Zoe's career has spanned more than a decade of charity work (alongside international diplomats and on her own projects), study in five countries, advocacy for safer cities for women, an ongoing career as a lawyer and community building through Girls Who Boss. She helps women break free from the "work-hard" trap and stop waiting for the "perfect moment" to act by tapping into **unapologetic self-trust.** By anchoring into their own authority, her clients move from paralyzing overthinking into a life defined by purpose and freedom of mind. Julianne works with women who are ready to stop seeking permission and start owning their power, creating a reality that is as bold as their ambitions - no matter their circumstances. This meetup is a casual discussion circle where women can connect, share experiences, and enjoy thoughtful conversation about life and the role money plays in our everyday journeys. There’s no preparation needed — just come as you are. The focus is on friendly conversation, meeting like-minded women, and creating a supportive space to connect. This is a social discussion event only. No financial advice or recommendations will be provided.

Sisters of the Willow moon circle is a safe circle for women to share, hold space, and explore our spirituality together. We engage in rituals, meditation, card pulls, and other activities geared toward creating community with our fellow seekers. We honor the divine feminine and craft new ways to forge our paths. Sisterhood and solidarity are powerful, and we can experience these together in Circle.
About the host
Sarah Karney (Mary Rose Mara) is a solitary, eclectic witch in practice for four years. She works with tarot, shadow work, and astrology to connect with the Divine Feminine. She is an intersectional feminist who loves sharing her experience as a witch, especially with those new to the craft. She leads workshops on magical practices, writes a blog (witch baby witch), and studies many forms of holistic healing. She believes in activism in the community and loves helping others find joy and spirituality.

**Welcome to Men's Circle, hosted at Sticks and Stones!** This is a group oriented towards fostering connection between men in our local community, while also accomplishing magickal working and intentional discussion around metaphysical topics. Please read the following code of conduct for our group, and message the facilitator or call the shop and ask for Merlin for any questions. Code of Conduct 1. We are all, in good faith, men. Whichever way that manifests, we take it on good faith that all attendees are male identifying. 2. We respect all walks of life and spiritual practice. We honor and respect men from every walk of life and spiritual practice. Freedom ends where it infringes on the practice of another. We do not evangelize, prostelitize, or talk down on others. There is no initiation, or universal code of spiritual conduct here. 3. What happens in Men's Circle stays in Men's Circle By attending, you accept a sacred duty to keep the trust and faith of the other attendees, do not share or discuss anything we share in circle. *(The secret answer to the question is "Salt on the Wind")* 4. Respect the circle Once the circle is cast, we are focusing our energy on magickal topics, and making the best use of everyone's time. With great love, we may ask you to redirect or keep a line of thought shorter or more intentional. 5. Arbitration is immediate and help-oriented If you run into a pain point or offense in our group, please speak up immediately and let your thoughts be heard.
