Monday Women's Badminton club session
This is a mixed ability night, however this is not a beginners session. We do ask that players joining us are at least of a lower intermediate level. This means that we’d expect you to: * Have the ability to execute and receive all badminton shots with some control; * have an understanding of the rules of badminton and scoring and; * (at least) some rudimentary use of tactics. This is to ensure there are good competitive games for all members. We play in the first floor sports hall and the session will be £10 payable by card on the night (no cash).

January Women's Circle
A heartfelt circle of connection, welcoming healing through reflection, release, realignment, and the shared wisdom within and around us The power of sisterhood can be transformational in connecting to and healing oneself. Like ancestors before us, we gather in circle to connect with our inner self, our inner wisdom; and the love, empowerment and wisdom of the community; thus welcoming true healing in. What you will experience * Powerful rituals to reflect on barriers, release what is no longer serving you and realign to where you want to be * A deep exploration of the self; checking in with where you are now and where you want to be * An invitation for transformational healing to begin, drawing on inner and community wisdom * An empowering environment that allows authenticity, vulnerability and bravery in the healing process * Conversations that draw on the wisdom of the community to support you with your unique circumstances * Modalities including guided breathing, guided meditation, reflective journaling, an open sharing circle, music and movement and more. The space created in the women’s circle is sacred. A beautiful place to be fully yourself, and met with love, care and empowerment. 🏆Mixed Tournament: Reverse Co-Ed 🏐📍UEL 📶 Mixed Ability
🏆Mixed Tournament: Reverse Co-Ed 🏐📍UEL 📶 Mixed Ability
**BOOK HERE**: https://sportas.co.uk/games/44103 **Game Description:** 🔄 THE TABLES HAVE TURNED! 🔄 Get ready for the most strategic and explosive mixed format in volleyball. Pantheon Volleyball presents the Reverse Co-Ed Tournament. What is Reverse Co-Ed? We play on a Women's Height Net (2.24m). The script is flipped: Women dominate the front row (blocking and hitting), while men must fly from the back row to attack. This format equalizes the playing field and creates insanely long, high-energy rallies. It’s all about strategy, defense, and shot placement. 📍 Venue: SportsDock, UEL 📅 Date: Sunday, January 18th 🏐 Level: Intermediate/Advanced 👥 Team Format: Mixed (3 Men / 3 Women) Ladies, this is your time to shut down the net. Gents, get your back-row pipes ready. Spots are limited. Sign up now! 🎟️ **Rules** 📜 OFFICIAL REVERSE CO-ED RULES 1\. The Net 🏐 • Height: Women’s Height (2.24m). • Why? To give female players the advantage at the net for blocking and attacking. 2\. Male Player Restrictions 🚫 • Attacking: Men can NEVER attack from the front court. They must jump from behind the 3-meter line (10ft line). If a male player touches the 3m line on takeoff, it is a fault. • Blocking: Men are NOT allowed to block. They cannot participate in a block at the net (this includes soft blocking/jousting). • Setting: Men can set from the front row, but if the ball goes over the net, it must be below the height of the net (no dumping). 3\. Gender Ratio & Rotation ⚖️ • Ratio: Strictly 3 Men and 3 Women on court. • Rotation: Alternating rotation (Male-Female-Male-Female) is MANDATORY. You must maintain this order throughout the game. 4\. The "Ghost Blocker" Rule 👻 • Since men cannot block, rotations with only 1 Female in the front row are at a disadvantage. • The Rule: When there is only 1 female in the front row, one female from the back row is allowed to come up to the net to BLOCK only. • Note: This back-row player cannot attack from the front row; she is there solely to assist with the block. 5\. The Vibe ✨ • Prize: Awards for 1st and 2nd place. • This is a competitive tournament, but the unique format makes it incredibly social and fun. Bring your A-game!

The Next Chapter: Looking Back, Leaning Forward, A WIA Vision Circle
The Next Chapter: Looking Back, Leaning Forward, A WIA Vision Circle
As we step into a new year, many of us are carrying lessons, practices, and questions shaped by the year behind us. The Next Chapter: Looking Back, Leaning Forward is a warm, facilitated vision circle designed to help us pause together, reflect on what truly worked, and imagine what we want to carry forward into what comes next. This is not a talk or presentation. It’s a small, participatory gathering focused on shared reflection, sense-making, and connection. **Together, we’ll explore:** * What supported you over the past year — in your work, leadership, or life * What you’re ready to leave behind * What you want next January’s version of yourself to be saying To support reflection in different ways, we’ll also have optional art materials available for anyone who would like to create a simple artifact for their year — a visual or tactile reminder of what they’re carrying forward. We’ll provide basic art supplies such as colored pencils, markers, paint pens, and small canvases. If you enjoy working with collage or other media, you’re warmly invited to bring magazines, stickers, or your favorite creative materials to use or share. Participation in the creative portion is completely optional. You don’t need a plan, goals, or polished answers. Curiosity, honesty, and listening are more than enough. The intention is for everyone to leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and inspired — with a clearer sense of what matters to them and how we can support one another as a community. Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate. ⸻ **What to Expect** * A small, welcoming circle (not a large meetup) * Structured conversation so everyone has space to speak * Reflection, listening, and lived experience — not advice-giving * Optional creative reflection using simple art materials * A calm, supportive environment ⸻ **Who This Is For** Women and underrepresented folks working in or around agile, product, technology, leadership, or organizational change — especially those looking for thoughtful conversation and community beyond frameworks and buzzwords. ⸻ **Good to Know** * No preparation required * Participation is invitational; listening is always welcome * Creative activities are optional — you can simply listen and reflect * You’re welcome to bring your own collage or craft materials if you’d like * Location details will be shared with registered attendees
