Open Reflection Women's Circle
Open Reflection Women's Circle
**Open Reflection Circle** is a small and intimate women’s gathering in Berlin, where we come together in a cozy café to share, reflect, and connect with one another. In this circle, a small group of around **8–10 women** gathers to spend time in meaningful conversation and reflection. We begin by introducing ourselves and gently creating a space where everyone feels comfortable and welcomed. Through guided reflection prompts, we explore our journeys, our emotions, and the experiences that shape our lives. These prompts are designed to help you open up and reflect more deeply on your thoughts, your dreams, and the challenges you may be navigating. We also include a few light and playful exercises to break the ice and help everyone feel relaxed and connected. The intention is not to create pressure to share, but to create an environment where sharing feels natural and safe. The heart behind the **Open Reflection Circle** is simple: to bring together women who can hold space for each other and remind one another that we are not alone in our journeys. This is a space where we can talk honestly about our lives — our visions, our goals, what we are building, and what sometimes holds us back from taking action. We reflect together on questions such as: Where do we want to go in life? What are we dreaming of creating? What challenges are we facing in our emotional wellbeing or personal growth? By listening to one another’s stories and perspectives, we often discover insights that we might not have seen on our own. You are encouraged to bring a **notebook and pen**, as many women like to take notes from reflections, ideas, and inspiration that arise during the conversation. Toward the end of the gathering, we close with a small and meaningful practice: exchanging short **love letters of gratitude** with each other. These simple messages help us acknowledge the presence of the women in the circle and leave the space with a feeling of appreciation, connection, and warmth. The intention of this circle is not advice or fixing each other’s problems. It is simply to **listen, reflect, learn from one another, and hold space for the beautiful complexity of each woman’s journey.**

Workshop Shading with Pencil: From Basic to Advanced Hatching Techniques | EN
Workshop Shading with Pencil: From Basic to Advanced Hatching Techniques | EN
**You like sketching but feel your drawings lack depth?** **A solid grasp of the basics will definitely help.** Learn or refine pencil hatching and shading techniques and embrace the potential of a medium as powerful and versatile as the pencil! Take your pencil skills further with exercises to build tone, texture and volume. We will start from the basics with a broad overview, covering pencil softness, pressure control, angle, tip shape, paper tone and highlights, gradually progressing to more advanced hatching techniques. This format offers a flexible and supportive approach, adapting to each participant’s level, from helping beginners get started to guiding intermediate artists through their individual challenges. I am Alessia Sinopoli, an Italian professional artist based in Berlin, and I will be your instructor throughout this journey. **What we will do step by step:** **We will combine theory and practice with hands-on exercises.** Introduction to materials and getting familiar with the tools we will use, exploring the differences between pencils of various hardness and using graphite grades such as 2H, 2B and 6B to achieve a rich tonal range from light to dark. Hand posture and proper pencil grip for shading, with control of pencil angle. Pressure control training to learn how to vary pressure and achieve smooth tonal transitions. Contouring to define the forms with attention to angle and direction. Layering and blending by building up graphite in light layers, practicing hatching without blending tools to gain full control over tonal transitions, and then experimenting with blending to observe the differences. Enhancing highlights by using white pens or precision erasers to reinforce the brightest areas of the drawing. Sketching practice by drawing simple objects such as cherries, spheres or apples, focusing on progressive construction and conscious use of hatching to define form, depth and contrast. Discussion of common mistakes, identifying frequent pitfalls and learning how to avoid them. Personalized guidance and open Q&A throughout the workshop. **Break and refreshments:** While drawing, we will enjoy some tea. Between the first and second parts of the workshop, we will take a break, a perfect moment to connect, share a cup of coffee and enjoy a sweet treat together (vegan option available). **What is included?** **Leave home as light as a butterfly, everything is provided!** All materials are available for use during the workshop: graphite pencils of various degrees of hardness, high-quality drawing paper, precision eraser and erasers, pencil sharpeners and drawing references. Refreshments are included: tea, coffee and a sweet treat. **Who is this workshop for?** This workshop is for those who want to spend a cozy and relaxing Saturday in a creative environment while learning. We will engage intensively in shading and learn essential techniques that provide a solid foundation for drawing with pencils. *A solid foundation gives your creativity room to flourish, helping your drawings become uniquely yours.* **Location:** The workshop takes place at Artcave Berlin, an inspiring art studio with a strong focus on community projects, offering kind and welcoming hospitality.
Productive Sunday Morning - Co-Working Session (Deep Work, all work welcome)
Productive Sunday Morning - Co-Working Session (Deep Work, all work welcome)
Hey everyone! I’m organising a co-working + socialising session for all of us who like to work on something (e.g. our own project, freelance or remote work) but don't feel like sitting alone at home. 🙂 To ensure that we have both **socialising** AND **working**, we will be using the so called “Pomodoro” technique: **50min of deep work** (silent), followed by **10min of break** to socialise. Then repeat! If you get into flow, you're also welcome to skip the breaks. It’s an effective way to stay focused - you can read more about it [here](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomodoro_Technique). Anyone from any background is welcome, whatever project you are working on or whatever is your personal background. I (the host) speak English and German, so either is fine :-) ——————————————————- AGENDA: * **15min Intro** * Get to know everyone, talk about what you will work on today * **Pomodoro Session** (3x) - *Each Pomodoro session consists* *of...* * ...**50min** of uninterrupted “deep work” (no talking, no interruptions, no phones) * ...**10min** of break: share your progress with others, talk about what you are stuck on etc. * Repeat * Conclude and celebrate your progress Share your progress, socialise and get to know others 😊 ———— We'll be at the Social Hub Berlin (they have a food menu in case you get hungry). The structured part will end at 2:30pm, but you're welcome to stay longer, go for lunch together, or leave earlier. See you there 🩵 **\*\*We'll reserve the long table. Please update your RSVP in advance if you can't attend!\*\***

Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks is for people whose days move fast, while the mind never fully lands. Thoughts keep looping even when nothing is urgent. The body moves, but attention is elsewhere. Over time, this disconnect drains clarity and ease. This walk is a simple reset. We meet in Berlin’s Tiergarten and walk at a gentle pace. Parts of the walk are in silence, with light guidance and a few short prompts. The walk itself is the practice, bringing body and mind back into the same moment. No apps. No performance. Just a clear space to slow down and notice what is happening. If you want to slow down without withdrawing from life, join a Chitta Walk. ✨ **What to expect (approx. 90 minutes):** * A short arrival and orientation * A guided silent walk (phones off, no conversation) * One concise science-based impulse on attention or stress * Optional reflection in pairs or small groups * A simple takeaway or experiment for daily life 🚶**Who this is for:** * Professionals, creatives, and people in transition. * People who feel mentally busy and want more clarity and balance. * Those curious about mindfulness, but grounded and practical. * Anyone comfortable with silence and gentle self observation. 🔔 **Practical notes:** * Duration: 60-90 minutes * Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing * No prior experience needed * Group size is limited to keep the space quiet and focused 🧭 **Facilitator:** My name is Partha Sarathi, you can call me PS. I have lived in Berlin for over 12 years. With a background in physics and materials science, my interest in mindfulness grew through personal experience with stress and health challenges. I facilitate the space and structure of the walk, inviting shared exploration rather than instruction. 🤔 **Why Chitta Walks?** Chitta is a Sanskrit word referring to the mind or field of awareness, used here in a practical, non-religious sense. Chitta Walks is about noticing how the mind works by slowing down and walking together. Mindful walking makes thought patterns visible in real time, while moving and sensing in the world. The name points to a simple capacity: noticing what is happening in the mind without immediately trying to fix, judge, or optimize it. 🌿 **Possible effects:** A calmer nervous system. Clearer attention. A felt sense of being more present in your body. Subtle insights into how your mind reacts under everyday conditions. A quieter, more grounded way of moving through the city. **Come as you are. Walk. Notice. Leave with a little more space inside.**

**🦥 Effortlessness and effortless Practice 🦥** “*It is not what you do, but what you stop doing that matters. [...] In peace and silence the skin of the ‘I’ dissolves and the inner and the outer become one. The real sadhana is effortless.*” (Nisargadatta Maharaj) **One of the fundamental opposites on the spiritual path are effort and effortlessness. The more advanced the practice, the more effortlessness becomes an important quality in the practice. At the same time, most practicioners make a lot of effort on the path.** **Let's meet and share for an afternoon on the topic of effortlessness and effortless practice and it's balance with effort.** “*When you are trying too hard, your effort becomes mechanical, and that defeats mindfulness before it even gets started. [...] Drop your expectations and straining. Simply meditate with a steady and balanced effort. Enjoy your meditation and [...t]he meditation itself will take care of the future.*” (Bhante Gunaratana) 💫 **What this event offers for you:** *Guided Meditations for arriving, calming the mind and tuning into your intuition - Meeting people interested in spirituality (all levels) *Safe Space for sharing - non-hierarchical and non-judgemental - Opportunity to ask just about any question **👀 You may watch one or few of the following Videos for inspiration:** * Adyashanti on effortless effort: [https://youtu.be/0ZxRrfZTj9I?is=jTGL1qspGosYmxch](https://youtu.be/0ZxRrfZTj9I?is=jTGL1qspGosYmxch) * Angelo Dilullo on "Simply always awake": [https://youtu.be/l2LZvO9wotM?is=AGxDMQem6AL2MJAn](https://youtu.be/l2LZvO9wotM?is=AGxDMQem6AL2MJAn) * Dean Sluyter on the Guru Viking Podcast "on "Effortless Awakening": [https://youtu.be/hWn63b4f490?is=tHMv8coTga2jhci5](https://youtu.be/hWn63b4f490?is=tHMv8coTga2jhci5) * Mingyur Rinpoche on effortless meditation: [https://youtu.be/2va3j-Ub3B0?is=lE3T-MMxF8eFpQeH](https://youtu.be/2va3j-Ub3B0?is=lE3T-MMxF8eFpQeH) * Swami Sarvapriyananda on effortless meditation: [https://youtu.be/1GkNIs3H2OA?is=HVcNEgoYuasFuNHb](https://youtu.be/1GkNIs3H2OA?is=HVcNEgoYuasFuNHb) * Shinzen Young on "strong determination sitting": [https://youtu.be/xVUtUguRc5s?is=YWH_wRWTJb3Ooqc5](https://youtu.be/xVUtUguRc5s?is=YWH_wRWTJb3Ooqc5) * Sadhguru on "Meditation is effortless": [https://youtu.be/7uV-dZuxAXg?is=yiKvnjwUsUFOQ7oM](https://youtu.be/7uV-dZuxAXg?is=yiKvnjwUsUFOQ7oM) **🧘 About the Organizer** Martin is a certified Mindfulness Teacher, Systemic Coach, Yogi and Altruist by heart who teaches Meditation and Martial Arts in different formats. However, in this meetup Martin focuses on the altruistic intention to open a space for people to share while offering as much facilitation as needed in the moment. “*What is the use of truth, goodness, harmony, beauty? They are their own goal. They manifest spontaneously and effortlessly, when things are left to themselves, are not interfered with, not shunned, or wanted, or conceptualized, but just experienced in full awareness. Such awareness itself is sattva. It does not make use of things and people — it fulfils them.*” (Nisargadatta Maharaj)

More importantly you’ll get the secret of how to gain control over your life so the highs are higher and the lows go away. Wouldn’t it be nice to stop the wild roller coaster ride for good? Or at least make it a fun roller coaster ride, with more ups and downs. There is a hidden factor that will be going over and you’re going to be quite surprised what it is and how much it affects your life. Men's Group meetup
Men's Group meetup
**The idea for this group is to build a community where men can gather together and build connections & learn and grow from each other.** How we start each meeting is by each of us checking in with our "roses and thorns" aka what are the good things and the bad things going on in your life recently? Then we will go into a topic discussion. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **COMMUNITY AGREEMENTS** \*\*THERE WILL BE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR NO-SHOWS. IF YOU RSVP TO A MEETING AND FAIL TO SHOW UP WITHOUT NOTICE, YOU'LL BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP. THIS IS TO PRESERVE THE INTEGRITY OF THE GROUP\*\* 1. Confidentiality - EVERYTHING that is shared NEVER leaves this space so that this space remains safe and sacred. There is a zero tolerance policy for this. If a man is in violation of this, they will be permanently removed from the group. 2. Non-Judgement - we respect and honor every man’s truth so that we may receive the same from others. While we may not agree on everything, we commit to respecting every man’s perspectives and engaging in honorable discussion with one another. 3. Be committed - honor your commitment to this group and to yourself. If you attend a meeting, please commit yourself fully to the meeting. Also be committed to your own journey. When we fail, we own it & clean it up. 4. Speak from the heart - this is NOT a space to “look good”, have the “right” answers, and have it all together. Relax and know you are not alone. Be exactly who you are within the safety of this space. 5. Be supportive - This means always willing to provide encouragement to your fellow men, encourage action and momentum in each other’s lives.. Be willing to challenge each other. Be willing to hold each other accountable. 6. Participation - what you receive from this community will be a reflection of what you put into it. Period. We ask that you share your perspectives, reflect on others, and give/receive support when and where it’s needed.
