Come hang out with fellow Apple platform developers and enthusiasts for an informal evening of tech talk, coffee, and good company. No agenda, no slides — just a relaxed get-together at a Copenhagen café where we geek out about Swift, iOS, visionOS, and whatever else is keeping us busy lately. Whether you're deep in SwiftUI architecture, experimenting with spatial computing, or just curious about what's happening in the Apple ecosystem, you're welcome here. We are mostly two Danes joining, so we can make two groups: beginners and more advanced. We are having conversations while drinking tea. If you have an exam coming up, we can speak about your exam subjects some of the time. Small donations (10-20 kroner) are appreciated, to support the rent of the place. Join a calming and creative workshop where we work with pure, natural beeswax. Over 2.5–3 hours, participants will make several types of candles – free-standing rolled candles, hand-dipped tapers, and poured tealights. Along the way, you’ll learn about the unique properties of beeswax and its fascinating origin in the beehive. All materials are included. **Les Amis** is a women-only community of friendly souls. **Join us for a group photography session at two iconic spots in Copenhagen!** This week’s locations: 📍 Nyhavn 📍 Frederik’s Church **Schedule:** We’ll start at **Nyhavn at 19:00**, spend about **30 minutes** there, and then take a **10-minute walk** to our next location. We’ll spend the rest of the time there, taking advantage of the **golden hour at sunset.** **Price:** The session is **150 DKK/Person**, and includes **three professionally edited photos** from *each* location. **Optional:** You can also book me separately for a private shoot if you’d like more photos. Dear all, Once again, it is time for a physical Meetup in the GTD Copenhagen Community. We will meet at Danske Regioner, Dampfærgevej 22, 2100 København Ø, where Bente Villumsen will host the meeting. We will meet on Thursday, 23th of May, at 17.00. The topic for the meeting is **the five GTD steps with a deep dive into the Clarify and Organise steps**. So come and join us if you would like a chance to improve your own GTD system. Our Copenhagen-based GTD Coach, Michael Eltong Gade, will take us through all five steps of GTD before we focus on the Clarify and Organise steps. We hope that the topic will give you the tools to make 2026 a great GTD year. After the presentation, we will discuss our own GTD Systems. You will get ideas to improve your system from Michael and the meeting participants. If time allows, we will discuss tips and tricks for challenges you have with the GTD practice. Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at our Copenhagen Shut Up & Write! sessions. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, résumé, melody, poem, or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: - 15 minutes of hellos and getting settled; maybe some quick intros. - Then, the timer starts! : writing for 1 hour. - After the hour is up... chat / take off / keep writing, if you're on a roll. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens once the hour of writing is complete. Writing can be very solitary... connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. We're a group of writers that meets up every Sunday for a productive writing session. **Here's how the meetup works:** * We gather together, grab some fika, and then we write for an hour. * After the hour is up, we spend some time chatting, sharing ideas and thoughts on writing, and discussing the challenges we've come across. During the workshop, you will make a set of candle holders, either by using one of our templates or by freestyling and shaping them entirely according to your own ideas. Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington. The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo. Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you. The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly. Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome. The cafe may be noisy on occasion so headphones/ earbuds are reccommended as you see fit. Please try to RSVP if possible so that we may grab enough seats for all—the venue can be busy at times.
