Fun Social Monday Evening Run in Islands Brygge
Fun Social Monday Evening Run in Islands Brygge
Come join us for a trail social run, jog, walk in Islands Brygge We are not a typical running club, so please read about the concept in “about us”. How it works: we don’t know in advance where the trail will go, but we know it will be fun! A member of the club, the 'hare', sets a trail, usually marked with flour. The rest of us, the 'pack', follows the hare's 'scent', i.e., the marks. There will be a 8-10 km trail for runners with shortcuts down to 5-6 km for walkers and those who need a slower pace. We have no set pace - run/walk as slow or as fast as you'd like. After the run we enjoy some refreshments and socialize. Come a few minutes before the start so that you can say hi and leave your bag in a designated bag car before we set off at 18:30. Don’t worry if there are few registrations on Meetup. We have existed for 44 years, and a lot of our members (anywhere from 20 to 50 people) just show up. Four-legged friends are welcome! We never cancel. See you there!
Stay in touch - we are going local!

**We will continue our sitting group but we are closing this Meetup account to favour local and in-person information channels. If you are not in our newsletter, then write to Bixi@birgittegorm.com to keep up with new events. We hope to have the website Myoin.dk up and running this summer, until then please keep in touch by writing an old-school personal email.** **Gassho** **Big heart zen Copenhagen**

Ideation - Mind over Machine
Ideation - Mind over Machine
**Regenerative software may just be the most purposeful rabbit hole you could dive into RIGHT NOW and we want to explore it together.** **— Where do we see potential for regenerative software?** "Mind over Machine", the new Think-tank and Laboratory for regenerative software is now formally established, and we will run a first round of ideation with the community. **The purpose is simple**: Generate ideas that can form the foundation of the first projects to run in the laboratory: A survey, an Open Source tool, an article, a podcast, a tutorial, a model ...anything goes really! Maybe you are a student and need a purposeful topic to base your master-thesis or internship on. Or maybe you just dream of joining forces with others around ideas you have, that would make the world a better place - **this is it!** **Mind Over Machine** **We will collectively generate, challenge and shape the initial ideas that could define MoM. Expect slightly half-baked thoughts and enthusiastic disagreement.** Join our Open Space style meeting for generation of initial ideas. The program will play out roughly as follows: * Brainstorm ideas, record them in an online backlog * From stage, briefly pitch each idea in the backlog * Upvote the ones that you believe in and would like to contribute to * Similar to Open Space Discussions, we will organize in parallel groups in short time slots and each group will discuss and record project details and perspectives to the ideas * If possible we will organize in work groups around the most vivid ideas and launch projects. **Prior to the event (optional):** You are welcome to take a jump start and present some of your ideas, even prior to the event. The following is a short description on the infrastructure and process we will use. 1. Create an [account on GitHub](https://github.com/signup) if you haven't already. 2. We will be working in the [GitHub Discussions (Ideas category)](https://github.com/orgs/mindovermachine-dev/discussions/categories/ideas) in our @mindovermachine-dev organization. 3. You will see that there are already a few ideas drafted out. 4. CONTINUE! Add your own ideas. If someone else already wrote an idea you like, vote it up, comment on it, supplement it with your own perspective. 5. Consider reading the [Guideline for suggesting ideas](https://github.com/orgs/mindovermachine-dev/discussions/3) first **See you there 🌱**

AI Meetup (June): Secure AI Agents
Important: Register on [AICamp website](https://www.aicamp.ai/event/eventdetails/W2026061814) is required for admission. **Description:** Welcome to the AI meetup in Washington DC. Join us for deep dive tech talks on AI, GenAI, LLMs and Agents, hands-on experiences on code labs, workshops, and networking with speakers and fellow developers. **Agenda:** \* 5:30pm\~6:00pm: Checkin, Food/drink and networking \* 6:00pm\~8:00pm: Tech talks and Q&A \* 8:00pm: Happy Hour at Courthouse Social (cross the street) **Tech Talk: Secure Developer Environments in the Age of AI Agents** **Speaker:** Patrick Brown (Coder) **Abstract:** Federal engineering teams are under pressure to ship faster while meeting some of the most demanding security and compliance requirements in the world. In this talk, Patrick Brown of Coder explores how cloud development environments (CDEs) give agencies a foundation to accelerate software delivery without sacrificing control — and why that foundation matters even more as AI-powered coding agents enter the workflow. He'll cover how CDEs keep source code off endpoints, enforce zero-trust access patterns, and provide the consistent, ephemeral infrastructure that both human developers and AI agents need to operate safely at scale. **Speakers:** Stay tuned as we are updating speakers and schedules. If you have a keen interest in speaking to our community, we invite you to submit topics for consideration: [Submit Topics](https://forms.gle/JkMt91CZRtoJBSFUA) **Sponsors:** We are actively seeking sponsors to support AI developers community. Whether it is by offering venue spaces, providing food, or cash sponsorship. Sponsors will not only speak at the meetups, receive prominent recognition, but also gain exposure to our extensive membership base of 5,000+ AI developers in D.C and 500K+ worldwide.

The End of Human-Scale AppSec
The End of Human-Scale AppSec
For decades, application security has been built around a simple assumption: humans are the primary producers of software. We train developers, review their pull requests, model threats in design meetings, and build controls around human decision-making. That assumption is rapidly breaking down. As AI coding assistants evolve into autonomous software agents, organizations will gain access to an effectively unlimited engineering workforce capable of producing software at a speed no human team can match. The pressure to adopt these systems will be driven not by curiosity, but by competition. Companies that successfully harness agentic development will ship faster, iterate faster, and potentially outpace those that do not. This shift forces a fundamental rethinking of application security. The future of AppSec is not securing developers—it is governing an agentic workforce. Threat modeling, code review, security testing, and change management will not disappear, but they will need to operate at machine speed and increasingly be performed by systems rather than people. In this talk, Ken Johnson, CTO of DryRun Security, explores what the next decade of application security may look like, the assumptions that will no longer hold, and why security professionals must understand these systems deeply if they hope to influence the future rather than react to it.
