Praha [Alma Career]: Nowwwinky, React, Design to Code a další porce inspirace…
🔥** Čeká nás pohodový večer plný inspirace, sdílení zkušeností a networkingu. Tradičně začneme **Nowwwinkami**, a pak navážeme bohatým programem v podobně přednášek a diskuzí 😉. Ať už jste víc na React, Figmu, performance, design nebo „co zrovna vibuje“, tohle je ten typ meetupu, kde si vždycky něco odneseme a nového dozvíme. **Hlavní line-up a na co se těšit dále** 🤩 * 🟢 18:00 otevíráme * 1️⃣ 18:40 **Nowwwinky** od Tomáše Kouta * 2️⃣ 19:00 **Rendering real-time data in React** od Roberta Gemrota * 3️⃣ 19:30 **Z Figmy do kvalitního kódu: Code Connect + AI** od Jana Kryšpína * 4️⃣ 20:00 **Start-up-and-down** od Jana Sasínka * 🎓 70 nadšených účastníků * 🍻 a v neposlední řadě kvalitní catering a networking \-\-\- 1️⃣ **Nowwwinky** od nikoho jiného než samotného [Tomáše Kouta](https://www.linkedin.com/in/tom%C3%A1%C5%A1-kout/) Tomáš nás uvede do večera a naservíruje rychlý výběr nowwwinek, které mu za poslední dobu utkvěly a které si zaslouží pozornost. \-\-\- 2️⃣ **Rendering real-time data in React** od [Roberta Gemrota](https://www.linkedin.com/in/robert-gemrot/) ze Second Foundation Dostáváte a zobrazuje data přes websocket? A měřili jste někdy dopady na výkon? V tomto talku si představíme jednu z možných technik, jak využít síly Reactu pro vykreslování realtimových dat. *Robert o sobě říká: „I'm a full stack software engineer, able to dive deep into just about anything. Currently working @ Second Foundation. I actually enjoy reading documentation.“* \-\-\- 3️⃣ **Z Figmy do kvalitního kódu: Code Connect + AI** od [Jana Kryšpína](https://www.linkedin.com/in/crishpeen/) z Alma Career Jak napojit design systém na Figma Code Connect a s pomocí AI zrychlit převod designů do dobrého produkčního kódu. \-\-\- 4️⃣ **Start-up-and-down** od [Jana Sasínka](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jan-sasinek/) Měli jsme skvělý plán a štěstí v neštěstí.
Dig the diff, parse the past: Eine Zeitreise durch Git-Repositories
Dig the diff, parse the past: Eine Zeitreise durch Git-Repositories
Hi Gophers! 16, 30163 Hannover), vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeber! \*\*\*\*\*\* Hi Gophers, Our next meeting will take place on **Wednesday, 11 February 2026**. [Christian Budde](https://github.com/meko-christian/) from [MeKo Manufacturing](http://www.meko.de/) will take us on a journey through time via various Git repositories and provide us with tools that we can use to travel through time in our own code base. Because Git never forgets anything. We read the repo as telemetry: aggregating, normalising and visualising – and looking at which metrics provide information about fossils in the code and team dynamics. The talk will be in German, when necessary we can switch to English. We’ll meet at [functional](https://functional.team/) (Drostestr. 16, 30163 Hannover) at **6:00 PM** — big thanks to our hosts! The talk will start at **6:30 PM**, followed by our usual casual get-together to share experiences, learn from each other, and enjoy the evening. We look forward to seeing you there! \*\*\* **Agenda** 18:00 Socialising (on site) 18:30 Presentation (on site & online) ... Networking
PyData Prague #33 - The Root of All Eval
PyData Prague #33 - The Root of All Eval
Hello Python magicians and A.I. operators! The 33rd Prague PyData meetup will take place at **Pure Storage offices**. As usual, the talks will start at 18:30 but we encourage you to come as soon as **18:00** to enjoy the opportunity to socialize and refresh yourselves (which you can continue doing during the break and after the talks). Note that this time we will want you to sign a **non-disclosure agreement (NDA) when entering** (only to protect the Pure Storage hardware in development; the talks themselves are public of course!) Our main goal is to build the community around Python and data and make it welcoming to people of various skills and experience levels. ⚡ If you are interested in giving a lightning talk (up to 5 minutes to present an idea, tool or results related at least to some degree to Python and/or data), please contact us before the event or at its beginning. **📢 Evals, Benchmarks, and Guardrails: A Pythonista's Guide to Not Mixing Them Up** **([Šimon Podhajský](https://www.linkedin.com/in/simonpodhajsky/), Waypoint)** "I'll just write pytest tests for my LLM"—but should you? This talk untangles benchmarks, evals, and guardrails: three concepts that sound similar but map to different Python patterns. Learn why pytest CAN work for evals (with the right mindset), why guardrails aren't tests at all, and a grounded theory approach to defining what "good" actually means for your task. **📢 Orchestration Beyond the Schedule: Real-Time Integrations with Prefect** **([Ondřej Hlaváč](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ondrej-hlavac-24423a217/), Pure Storage)** As Python data workflows grow in complexity, relying on simple scripts and cron jobs often leads to "silent failures" and a lack of visibility. Enter Prefect—a modern orchestration framework that empowers developers to build, observe, and manage robust pipelines using standard Python code. While Prefect is rapidly gaining traction for scheduled batch processing, we took a different path: using it to power real-time event integrations for Master Data Management. In this talk, I will introduce what makes Prefect unique compared to legacy tools and demonstrate how we adapted it to handle immediate, event-driven flows. We will explore how its built-in resilience capabilities—like automatic retries, state management, and detailed observability—can be repurposed to make real-time integrations as reliable as nightly ETL jobs.

Business Stories with Šárka Betke — From bootstrapping to exit
Business Stories with Šárka Betke — From bootstrapping to exit
Business Stories is a conversation series about how real businesses are built, operated, and eventually transitioned. The focus is on decisions, trade-offs, and long-term thinking rather than tactics or trends. This session features **[Šárka Betke](https://www.linkedin.com/in/%C5%A1%C3%A1rka-betke-12a7a457/)**, founder of **[Vinofactum](https://www.vinofactum.wine/)**, a Berlin-based wine importer and distributor focused on natural wines from Central and Eastern Europe. After becoming a mother, Šárka left her stable career in fintech and founded Vinofactum in 2020, growing it to a combined revenue of over €1M without external funding. She built a trusted discovery platform shaped by close, long-term relationships with producers and loyal B2B clients. The business grew through disciplined commercial decisions in a traditional and highly competitive market. The conversation follows the full arc of the business, from the shift out of a well-paid director role to doing everything alone, through the hard trade-offs of bootstrapping and the reality of being an immigrant founder, to preparing a company for exit. *** ## Who this event is for * Founders building bootstrapped or capital-efficient businesses * Operators running distribution, wholesale, or product-led companies * Entrepreneurs in food, beverage, retail, or traditional industries * Business owners thinking about an exit in the coming years * Investors, advisors, and ecosystem builders interested in founder-led companies It is designed for people who value practical experience over abstract frameworks. *** ## What you will take away * A realistic view of how a bootstrapped business evolves over time * Insights into sourcing, pricing, and portfolio discipline * A grounded perspective on preparing for exit without rushing growth * Lessons on trust and relationships as a competitive advantage * Clear examples of decisions that shaped long-term outcomes *** ## 🗓 **Agenda** * **18:00** – Doors open & informal networking * **18:30** – Fireside chat & open Q&A with **[Šárka Betke](https://www.linkedin.com/in/%C5%A1%C3%A1rka-betke-12a7a457/overlay/about-this-profile/)** * **19:30** – Relaxed networking *** ## **Supported by** ✨ This event is proudly supported by **[Jimmy Technologies](https://www.fromjimmy.com/)** and **[Uppersky](https://uppersky.co/).**

Breathwork Ceremony: Giving Closure
Breathwork Ceremony: Giving Closure
Breathwork Ceremony: Giving Closure is a guided breathwork experience focused on meeting unfinished emotional processes and inner material that has remained open or unresolved. Through conscious breathing and music, the practice supports the body in processing emotions and experiences beyond thinking or verbal explanation. Instead of analysing the past, participants are invited to stay present with what is alive now and allow the body to gently complete what has been held. This ceremony is especially supportive when emotions feel layered, unclear, or difficult to put into words, and when something inside asks for closure rather than more understanding. What to Expect • A guided breathwork journey supported by music • Conscious breathing working with emotional and nervous system regulation • Space to meet and process unfinished inner material • A calm, structured group environment • Time to rest and integrate after the practice Each person’s experience is unique and may include emotional release, insight, deep rest, or a sense of inner clarity. There is no requirement to share or explain your experience. Who This Is For • Open to all genders • Suitable for beginners and experienced breathwork practitioners • Supportive during periods of emotional processing or transition • No prior experience required You are welcome to move at your own pace and take care of your body throughout the session. Practical Information • Duration: approx. 2 hours • Breathwork practice: around 50 minutes • Price: 360 CZK • Language: English The evening includes a short introduction, the guided breathwork practice, and a sharing circle with tea afterward (sharing is always optional). Facilitated by Alina, breathwork facilitator, transformational coach, and artist. Her work weaves together breath, music, and presence, creating experiences that support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and deep inner listening. She holds breathwork ceremonies as gentle yet powerful journeys — spaces where the body is trusted to release, integrate, and find its own clarity without force or explanation.

Hi All, Come and join us for social running and a coffee! We meet at the main gate of Vystaviste - tram stop Vystaviste Holesovice. We will run in Stromovka. Usually we run around 50mins and it is up to everyone how many kilometres. We welcome all levels of runner. We can all run together or, if there is more of us, we can split into groups and at the end of the run we all meet close to the starting point to go for a coffee to a nice local coffee place (where they also sell cakes and great chocolate). If the weather is great, we can also just sit in one of the outside coffee placces in Stromovka and enjoy the sun. Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few. How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again. So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? In this meeting, you will learn a technique to help you with that. Come join us! Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is created by the Dianetics and Scientology life improvement center.
