KOBRA: Kids + Parent Ride @ CNF

Details

Meet time: 5:15 PM. We roll out of the parking lot at 5:30 PM.

KOBRA rides are for younger riders and their parents (no drop-offs please)—with a focus on fun, fitness, and some bike handling. They’re all about getting kids outside and enjoying being on a bike. We will ride a combination of fire roads and single track. These are no-drop rides—we won’t leave anyone behind.

Who are they for?
Anyone! Most kids are elementary school age, but middle school kids newer to biking will fit right in. There’s a range of skill levels, from kids who have never ridden single track before to some who our ride leaders struggle to keep up with! We do our best to create an experience that fits the skills & experience of the kids. Ride leaders permitting, we often split into two or more groups to help cater to different skill levels.

The rides are 1.5 hours max, and we take plenty of breaks as needed.

It goes without saying, but we'll say it anyway: Helmets required. Water is a good idea.

Note: many of our volunteers are listed as Event Hosts, but not all ride leaders will be at every ride.
