In 2020 we had to cancel the Postgres Conference in Manhattan. If you haven’t been living under a rock for 5 years, you know why. Since that time, every single sponsor, partner and most of our attendees have been asking, “When are you going back to the East Coast?”. Of course due to our East Coast roots of being in NYC the team discussed it at length and with many community members.

A Destination
One of the requirements for our next location was that it is a destination. It is a place you likely want to visit at least once in your life. You want things to do outside of the conference. You want museums, drinks, social life, landmarks and an experience to remember. NYC provides all of that. It also is exorbitantly expensive.

Orlando also meets all of our requirements. It is an easy trip from Europe and anywhere in North America. It provides a wealth of opportunities for families and professionals. It is truly a magical place and is well known for a certain mouse.
