What we’re about
Toronto Vegan Meetup is where you can meet local vegans for fun social events like potlucks, drinks nights, sanctuary visits and more! (Non-vegans also welcome. We just ask that you eat only vegan food at our events.)
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Conscious Coffee Party (Round 2)CSI @ 192 Spadina Ave, Toronto, ON
Hey there, welcome to the Conscious Cass community!
🥳 General Description
A daytime party where coffee and music are the stars, but it’s about much more than that... We’re building community around sustainable living one cup at a time! There will be opportunities to make connections, a chance to dance thanks to our awesome DJ, a bit of education around sustainable steps you can take to feel empowered and a door prize filled with green goodies!🎫 Tickets
Tickets start at $15, grab yours now through Luma: https://lu.ma/diw3vcl7📍 Location
The Spadina location of the Centre for Social Innovation, located just north of Queen St W, is a wonderful co-working space and community hub focused on social impact, perfect for hosting events like this one. We’ll be taking over the whole ground floor as well as the laneway assuming the weather holds up!🍪 Food & Drink
Your ticket includes unlimited handcrafted espresso beverages as well as some scrumptious plant-based bites. In addition, you’ll be able to buy bigger bites from pop-up local vendors like Tsuchi Cafe! We’re also trying to keep the event low-waste so reusables will be the name of the game, most of which will be on-site, but we encourage you to bring your own cup if you can.🤝 Community Building
Upon arrival, you’ll be given a passport of sorts to encourage conversation with other attendees. The education room, which will include a little activation, will also be a great space to discuss ideas with others!🌍 About Conscious Cass
I’ve been on my low-waste, plant-based journey for the past eight years… I began sharing it online through social media before launching a website, consciouscass.ca, during COVID that’s basically a one-stop shop for sustainable living in Toronto. In the last few years, I started hosting events at my apartment like Cookie & Clothing Swaps and Conscious Cass Cafes before doing public events like workshops and the first Conscious Coffee Party. I also now have a newsletter where I share sustainable tips and curate a collection of local events to help us all consume more consciously in the city!
