Dear tea travelers,

Thank you for being part of this group since August 2025. Tea feels like a portable Room of Requirement: it can carry us into different times and spaces, while also bringing people together in the present. In this vast world, this is how we found one another. It has been a pleasure to meet you.

We plan to close this group at the end of April. For future event updates, please follow us on Instagram. We will continue hosting tea events, including:
• Historical tea journeys
• Tastings of the six major categories of Chinese tea: green, white, yellow, oolong, black, and Pu’er
• Rare tea tastings, such as ancient tree tea (from trees at least 100 years old)
• Song-dynasty-style Dian Cha (the predecessor of matcha)
• Seasonal tea gatherings
• Tea and handicraft/art experiences

Kochi Cafe

Kochi is an Asian fusion tea shop serving flavorful brews and small bites in a bright, welcoming space. It is a place for community, conversation, and tradition in every cup.

Perhaps the second most romantic thing in the world is saying goodbye, and the most romantic thing is meeting again. We look forward to seeing you in the future. May time be gentle with you.
