• Planned Parenthood Ohio Votes Canvass
Please sign up here also: https://bit.ly/2M0zROB Since November 2016, we've worked together to defeat attacks against our health, rights, and communities. Now it's time to hold politicians accountable and elect leaders who will fight with us. It's up to us to take back the power from those who are intent on dividing us. This midtern election is a turning point for Ohio, determining the future of women's rights in our state and whether Planned Parenthood health centers will be able to keep their doors open and provide reproductive health services, education, and access to safe, legal abortion. We are knocking on doors and talking with our neighbors to make sure champions of reproductive health and rights win up and down the ballot in 2018! Canvasses will take place every Saturday and Sunday 10AM-2PM (plus Wednesdays 5-8pm, starting in September!). Snacks, supplies, resources, maps, scripts, and training will all be provided! Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear shoes for walking. Meet at the National Association of Letter Carriers Hall, 4100 Colerain Avenue, Cincinnati, OH[masked]

  • Adopt A HWY Cleanup: Creation Museum
Details This is our 5th year in cleaning the highway near the Creation Museum. We thought it was a clever way to protest the Creation Museum & at the same time do a good thing for the environment. A few years ago our signs were vandalized. We will need to re-check our repainting efforts. When you get off the Petersburg Rd exit, turn right and you can park on the shoulder immediately off the exit. I recommend bringing gloves & water. We will bring the rest.

Today, identity politics transcends traditional notions of place, space, and even race in ways that complicate core ideas of personal, class, and nationalistic identity.
