WHO IS TUKI TIGER?
As the founder of Tuki Tiger Adventures, I am an experienced hiker, walk leader & qualified fitness instructor - I have had the good fortune to enjoy the outdoors & extensive travel during my life & would like to share this passion with you. My emphasis is very much on devising highly creative hiking trails & organising fun, well-structured packaged trips & social events, where prominence is placed on making new friends in a joyful & relaxed environment.
If you’re seeking to improve your general health, crave exciting, passionately designed, expertly guided hikes & adventures in the great outdoors, with lively people from a range of cultural backgrounds, then a Tuki Tiger Adventures event is the one for you!
WHAT ADVENTURES DO WE ORGANISE?
The UK and the World at large has a plethora of hidden beauty and delightful treats. With the extensive knowledge garnered from decades of hiking & travel, it is the mission of Tuki Tiger Adventures to devise exciting days out & group trips for all to enjoy in a dynamic fun environment.
Day Hikes
We offer multiple day hikes of varying length & difficulty, ranging from leisurely trails geared towards the majority, to uniquely, very demanding days out with multiple ascents at a fast pace - very challenging & not for the faint hearted!
We visit locations across the whole of the East, South East & eastern edge of the South West, frequenting such beauty spots as the Chiltern Hills, High Weald, Kent Downs, South Downs, Surrey Hills & numerous coastal trails, brimming with serene peaceful countryside, challenging undulations, stunning flora & fauna, & nearly always accompanied by spectacular panoramic views; you decide what level of adventure you prefer!
Guests can expect a professionally organised & competently guided outdoor adventure. With extensive man hours, every single trail is thoroughly researched, pre-walked (recce) & custom designed to be as unique & creative as possible.
A hike grading system is used where TIGER PAWS are used to depict the nature of a day’s events. Please click on the link below for further info. It is VERY IMPORTANT you carefully understand the physical nature of each adventure to avoid disappointment as some hikes are for the strong & experienced only.

Weekend Escapes
We offer package getaways that usually involve 3-5 days of adventurous pursuits – sometimes with multiple hike options to choose from each day, possibly adrenaline packed activities, maybe an arranged tour to a site of interest, or even the occasional themed dinner for a fun-packed, social evening of entertainment.
Accommodation, occasionally travel and whatever form of entertainment planned – guided walks, a tour of a cave, kayaking down a river etc. – will always be included in the package price, or stated as an optional extra where applicable.
Our lodging could be as basic as bunk beds in a dorm room, to luxury hotel surroundings; price will reflect the quality of premises being used for the trip.

WHAT ABOUT SAFETY?
Safety is always our number one priority. Although we can never make the outdoor environment entirely safe, with our experience, training and meticulous planning we aim to minimise the risk.
Tuki Tiger Adventures day activities are led by very experienced event leaders with an Outdoor Activity First Aid qualification or similar.
Generally, event numbers are restricted to ensure activities are managed in the most effective manner possible for maximum guest enrichment.

£210 / 3 Ngts / Shared Room
Link - TRIP PHOTOSThe Yorkshire Dales, home to outstanding scenery, ancient castles, enchanting abbeys and a breathtakingly peaceful atmosphere - the perfect location for a wild summer adventure.
For this long weekend escape we will be visiting one of the more remote northern dales – Swaledale, a captivating valley, a place where history whispers from ancient stone walls and natural beauty unfolds at every turn.
Swaledale is famous for its hardy breed of sheep and spectacular wildflower meadows which are a blaze of colour in June and early July – perfect timing for our visit. A deep and winding valley, this is an ideal spot for those who wish to forget the pressures of everyday life and wish to discover an adventure on the wild side.
Lodging in the heart of this serene valley, our digs for this journey come in the form of the splendid YHA Grinton Lodge – a charming Grade II listed building dating back to 1817, built high on the slopes high above the village of Grinton offering stunning panoramic views of the whole Swaledale valley.
