Hello, Unmasked Autistic Adults of Sacramento , San Francisco + East Bay Areas.

Tired of masking in a neurotypical world that doesn't understand you? If so, then this group is for you. Unmasked is all about being your actual autistic self, not the masked version you're forced to pretend to be to get by. Our group has undergone a change in leadership, but we're still committed to the ideal of an unmasked safe space. By the way, my name's Charlie. I'm running this Meetup group, and I'll be facilitating the meetings, but I prefer to think of this as a collective space that nobody owns. It's ours! We are cultivating a close knit group of individuals in Sacramento, San Francisco, and East Bay Area for Virtual Meetings, a member Discord as well as occasional Regional in Person meetups. All new members must read the questions presented + reply to express your understanding of the questions prior to access.

Virtual meeting are held every other Wednesday at 6pm–7:30pm PT.
If you are a new member, please RSVP for a virtual meeting and we will be sending a message with Private Discord Invite Link approximately 30 minutes prior to the meeting starting.

Discord membership allows access to everyday chats in the Discord server.
*Lurkers NOT allowed for the safety and privacy of our members*.
If you join Discord, we hope you will attend some meetings and/or engage in/or start topics to discuss. You are welcome to join the virtual meetings w camera off and use chat to participate during the meeting, if not ready to speak.
We want to accommodate you and be inclusive as much as possible, while keeping our group safe for current and future members.

Event host and executive team reserve the right to remove “Long time or New” non participating members from Meetup and/or Discord for non participation without notice.
