We will walk the Heritage Trail that showcases various SC natural areas. This interesting trail requires walking shoes or good tennis shoes. We will finish at the Geological Museum.

Want to meet new people, make new friends, or simply looking for an easy, fun, social and healthy activity to get you, your children, your pet, and family members out of the house? Join us for our walks that you can do with the group or on your own. It is not a race - but a fun, social activity - We hope to see you!
Who We Are: We are organized as the Upstate Pathfinders Volkssport Club, part of the America's Walking Club (aka American Volkssport Association). You don’t have to be an athlete to be a Volkssporter! We are a not-for-profit club managing 11 interesting walks in different locations throughout Greenville, SC area.
Route: The 5k group walks the Natural Heritage Garden Trail of South Carolina Habitats, the Aquatic Garden, amphitheater, and more into the Garden where there are many other trails provide interest and variety.
Start Point: 140 Discovery Lane, Clemson, SC. Turn right after the gate and pass the Visitor Center to the large parking area. Registration will be in the parking lot. Restrooms available at start and on the route.
Registration: Register between 9:00 and 9:30am. Walk with a group or on your own with turn-by-turn instructions. Group walks start very shortly after registration ends. The walk is free for participants and $3 donations are appreciated to offset insurance costs and Meetup Fees. Cost is $4 for participants who record walk events. Minors are free. Please bring exact change.
Walk safety: Hiking sticks are not required but some trails are uneven and may be useful on the non-paved trails. Note that non-paved trails/boardwalks are narrow. Pets are not allowed on the Natural Heritage Garden Trail. Please carry water.
Parking: Park in large lot past the visitor center near the Geological Museum (https://www.clemson.edu/public/geomuseum/) that opens at 10 am. An interesting stop we visit at the end of the walk
