CHRISTMAS LIGHTS Walk - Downtown Vancouver & West End

*** Please note that this walk starts at 3:00 pm. Registration will start at 2:30 and all walkers must register no later than 2:55. ***

This route takes you through Downtown Vancouver where you'll see displays of gingerbread creations and decorated trees. There are several places where you can vote for trees or displays, make donations, and/or enter a prize draw. Follow the signs to “CHRISTMAS AT CANADA PLACE” to see the Woodward’s windows and Canada’s North light display. Walk along the Seaside Greenway (Seawall), to the beautiful marina in Coal Harbour, passing Westin Bayshore Hotel. Continue along to see the “Bright Nights” in Stanley Park. Return via Beach Avenue and pass the LIGHTS OF HOPE at St. Paul’s Hospital.

It would be wise to wear reflective and/or bright clothing and to bring a flashlight (so you can read the route instructions).

Walk 5K or 10K. The 5K route does not include Stanley Park, Beach Avenue or the Lights of Hope at St. Paul’s Hospital.

Immediately following the walk, you may wish to join some of your fellow walkers for a nice dinner at the nearby Urban Fare, located at 1133 Alberni Street.
