What we’re about
Welcome to the MN Animal Rights/Vegan Meetup (previously named ‘Minneapolis Vegan Meetup’) sponsored by the Animal Rights Coalition (ARC)!
ARC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to end the suffering, abuse, and exploitation of non-human animals through information, education, and advocacy. This group was created to bring together the Minneapolis plant-based community and the animal rights community. We engage in both advocacy and social events to educate others about animal rights and veganism. Join us to advocate for animals at a peaceful protest, community outreach, leafleting, or Cuddle Coats Prep Session. Stop by our monthly volunteer meeting & potluck, dine outs, pop-ups or movie screenings to meet other vegans and like-minded people. All are welcome to attend ARC events! You do not need to be vegan or vegetarian or have previous experience advocating for animals. We hope to see you at an event soon!
Visit ARC’s official website.

Join Nick, one of the Animal Rights Coalition Dine Out hosts, for dinner at Lucky Dragon! This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded folks and have a delicious meal while supporting restaurants with awesome vegan options.
Everyone is welcome! You do not need to be vegan to attend.
Check out their menu (some things they offer are not shown on the menu I found online such as the fried tofu which is a big hit)- many things can be made vegan including their cream cheese wontons! Other favorites are the General Tso's Tofu. Lucky Dragon Near Me - Pickup and Delivery
Parking: Street Parking is available. There is also a paid lot at 1819 Riverside Ave Lot.
RSVP Agreement:
Please make sure to keep your RSVP up to date and arrive on time. These dine outs often fill up fast with people added to the wait list. Please be fair to them so that they have a chance to see if they are able to attend. This is also important so that we can give restaurants an accurate number as they are often busy and holding spots for us which could have gone to other customers.
I will send a reminder to everyone 3 days before the dine out. Canceling within 24 hours of the dine out time or not showing up will both count as a strike (unless you were on the wait list and were added because someone dropped out within 24 hours). If you get 3 strikes in a year you won't be able to attend future dine outs. - Vegan Meal Planning - ZOOMNeeds location
