What we’re about
Welcome to the MN Animal Rights/Vegan Meetup (previously named ‘Minneapolis Vegan Meetup’) sponsored by the Animal Rights Coalition (ARC)!
ARC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to end the suffering, abuse, and exploitation of non-human animals through information, education, and advocacy. This group was created to bring together the Minneapolis plant-based community and the animal rights community. We engage in both advocacy and social events to educate others about animal rights and veganism. Join us to advocate for animals at a peaceful protest, community outreach, leafleting, or Cuddle Coats Prep Session. Stop by our monthly volunteer meeting & potluck, dine outs, pop-ups or movie screenings to meet other vegans and like-minded people. All are welcome to attend ARC events! You do not need to be vegan or vegetarian or have previous experience advocating for animals. We hope to see you at an event soon!
Visit ARC’s official website.
For more volunteer opportunities, visit ARC’s Volunteer Network & sign up for our monthly volunteer email.

Minnehaha Lodge 165 Af & AM, 5149 Bloomington Avenue, Mpls, MN, USThis event is hosted by VegKins, a one-of-a-kind social network for families raising vegan children. We offer fun, supportive gatherings like potlucks, parent nights out, park days, teen meetups, and holiday celebrations—all built on a foundation of compassion and community.
Come dressed in your Halloween best for an evening of:
- Costume fun for kids (and grown-ups, if you're game!)
- A potluck of delicious vegan-friendly dishes
- Creative trunk-or-treating – families decorate their car trunks in fun, spooky, or silly Halloween themes and hand out vegan treats to the little goblins and ghouls who are heading inside for the potluck party!
*see photo for inspiration
🎃 How it works:
- Each participating family decorates their vehicle trunk in a Halloween theme.
- Kids will go trunk to trunk collecting only vegan treats (think candy, fruit snacks, or creative homemade goodies – just be sure they’re vegan!)
- Bring a labeled vegan dish to share at the potluck table inside the lodge
