Cuddle Coats Prep Session!
• What we'll do We just sent out over 30 boxes of finished furs to rehabs all over the US and STILL have tons of furs that need to be prepped for rehabs! Please join us for a prep session followed by delicious vegan pizza from Galactic Pizza on us! Come for the duration or just a portion (although please help prep if you plan to enjoy pizza)! During this session, we will be prepping donated fur coats and accessories for shipment to wildlife rehabilitation centers. This means removing all buttons, zippers etc, so feel free to bring a pair of sharp scissors or seam ripper of your own if you'd like - though we have several for people to use. Some people like to bring a lint roller for getting fur off their clothes at the end but please wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty! All are welcome! This is a great opportunity for teens and mature kids to help out, too, and is a great, low-key, low-commitment way to volunteer for a little bit and meet some of the other people in the group, while doing something concrete to save lives. **Pizza and beverages provided at the end of the prepping!** • What to bring • Important to know We will prep the furs in the basement of Ethique Nouveau. The store will say we are closed after 6, but the door will be unlocked! Come right in and join the group! We will eat after about an hour and a half of prepping.
