VSDC Veg Singles Latin Dancing

Meet up with fellow vegan and vegan-aspiring singles at Dancing on the Waterfront! This is a Latin dance event held every Saturday throughout the summer, so we will be part of a larger group. The event starts with a beginner dance lesson, so you don't need dance experience to join!

We will meet on the lawn of Georgetown Waterfront Park, between 33rd Street and Potomac Street, in NW DC. If you need an address to put in your GPS, use 3300 Water Street NW.

Look for Kathryn in a green VSDC t-shirt. Our VSDC singles group will meet at 4:30 so we can get to know each other a little before joining the larger group when the dance lesson starts at 5. We will also have green VSDC wristbands to identify our group, so come find Kathryn and get a wristband if you arrive late.

There is no food at the event, but Chaia is a great taco spot five minutes from the dance. Chaia is all vegetarian and has a lot of vegan options. There is also a Van Leeuwen ice cream shop nearby, and they have fun vegan flavors. We ask that you please order vegan food as part of any VSDC event. Everyone will pay for their own food directly, so bring your own payment method.

I recommended bringing water and wearing comfortable shoes.

About the Veg Singles Group
This group is for vegan and vegan-aspiring adults who do not currently have a romantic partner. People of any sexual orientation may join as long as they are single. Anyone 21 or older is welcome. You do not need to be looking to date, you can just come socialize with other singles!

Transportation
The nearest Metro station is Foggy Bottom, which is a 20 minute walk away. There are several buses that go much closer. If you are driving, there is a paid parking garage at 3205 Water Street NW.
