The north bay's China Camp Park is known for its fun, flowing trails with beautiful trees and scenic vistas.
Come explore this fabulous park on our beginner-friendly ride. The 2 hour loop we plan to ride is about 9.5 miles with only 900 feet of climbing. The trails are not super technical - but tons of fun - and a great place for beginners to practice their mountain biking skills.
Then, if anyone wants to get in some extra mileage, join us for lunch and a second loop at a faster pace. Total mileage for both loops is around 20 miles.
You will need a mountain bike in good working condition, helmet and water. We also recommend bringing snacks and a camera - the views are great here! If you plan to stay for the extra mileage - bring lunch and extra water.
China Camp does have a 5$ fee to ride, you can pay by cash or credit card at the entrance to the trail or when you enter to park.
