I spoke with Blair this past Fall about the concerts they did
this year and I didn't get the impression they made much money on most of
them.

I agree, sort of. . .She was very nice when I spoke with her, but I didn't
get a feeling that she was promoting folk music per se as much as folk music as
a vehicle to pay for cows in Nicaragua or something like that. There's
nothing wrong with that - its a wonderful cause; but I also think it's a shame
that in the middle of an area where there's no real competition to stimulate a
real local acoustic music scene, she was totally uninterested......unless it
made money For A Cause.
