WALK STARTING POINT: Meet at 2.30pm outside Chorleywood Underground Station. (Metropolitan Line - Zone 7).
WALK ROUTE:-From Chorleywood Station across Chorleywood Common and along the Chess Valley pathway to Rickmansworth.
WALK END POINT: At a large pub in Rickmansworth High Street not far from Rickmansworth station.
WALK DISTANCE: Approx. 5.0 miles at a moderate pace.
STOPOUT POINTS: Never more than 30 minutes walk from bus routes.

Social Event:
Our walks are social walks, where the emphasis is on meeting new people, enjoying nature, healthy exercise, and fresh air. Our walks are not interrupted with running commentaries or historical lectures, although occasionally features of significance may be pointed out. As such our walks will be continuous with few stops and it is your responsibilty to keep walkers ahead in view and to follow the direction of the walk. We always end the walk at a pub with a convivial atmosphere where the socialising can continue. Be sure to join us in the pub for the whole experience!

This walk is suitable for the average experienced hill walker. Expect some hills. Do not attend this walk if you do not fit that description or if you have a medical condition (especially heart and/or lung conditions) that may impact upon your capability of completing the walk.These walks are city walks and countryside walks where all the usual risks of injury during such walks apply resulting from interactions with road traffic, joggers, cyclists, e-scooters,other members of the public, animals (farm, domestic and wild), plants (allergic reactions), uneven surfaces, including portruding tree roots and potholes, and low overhanging tree branches.
In these walks we cross busy roads, use towpaths and tracks alongside water, bridlepaths, country lanes and sometimes ill defined paths and tracks through woodland, bush and countryside. Note that some tracks may be muddy and slippery, and conditions may be wet and icy. The walk leader is not and does not purport to be a professional guide, or a medical professional, but is instead a like minded individual who also enjoys hill walking and who is familiar with the intended route.

- HORTON COUNTRY PARK🌳🌿🌲 £5 WALK.Chessington North Railway Station, London
COUNTRY PARK, WOODLANDS, STREAM
Stunning green walk in Horton Country Park and Epsom Common.WALK START: Chessington North (National Rail.)
WALK DISTANCE: Approx 5.5 miles
WALK FINISH: At a large pub, in Epsom town centre not far from Epsom Station (National Rail).
WALK ROUTE: From Chessington North station along the Bonegate Stream and into Horton Country Park, before transferring into Epsom Common.
STOP OUT POINT: Bus route is available 2/3 into the walk.
Please arrive in good time to allow opportunity to use toilets at the start of the walk as there may not be any toilet breaks available during the walk.

- CIRCULAR £5 WALK: SCENTED LAVENDER 🪻🪻🌿🌳 FIELDSBelmont Station Road, Greater London
Beautiful Lavender Fields!!
Join us for a Saturday afternoon circular walk from Belmont Railway Station (Travelcard Zone 5) , through the northern edge of Banstead Common to the MAYFIELD LAVENDER FIELDS before returning to Belmont Railway Station (please note that there is an entry charge of £5 payable to the Mayfield Lavender Farm to enter the lavender fields).
Give up the city streets for a day and breathe some fresh air. Improve your overall fitness levels.
