Walks by Water - walking, hiking London

Lets go with the flow and do this wonderful 8.5 mile walk in deepest Essex along the idyllic remote River Roach !

A delightful tranquil peaceful almost surreal walk in open countryside that is mostly by the sea wall.

Please arrive by 9am so as to facilitate the purchase of group return train tickets to Rochford for the train at 9.33am that arrives at Rochford at 10.21am.

Meetup fee £8 payable in cash or £6 in advance by Friday by bank transfer, bank details available upon private message.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes/ trainers/boots.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.

We shall have a drink at the end of the walk and then take the bus back to Rochford at 2.40pm before taking the train back to London.

Let's go with the flow and spend several days on this most beautiful island in the Canary Islands filled with beautiful beaches and some craggy volcanic hills such a great place for walking and hiking!

We shall be staying in Corralejo at the north of the island so please book a hotel for 4 nights.

You may wish to arrive a few days earlier before the trip or leave a few days after the trip finishes.

Sunday

Easyjet flight from Gatwick at 7.15am to Fuerteventura

Mid Afternoon :

7.5 mile walk there and back to Playa del Bajo de la Burra

There is an option to start the walk from Majanicho but you will need to organize a taxi to take you to Majanicho by 3.30pm and then wait for the rest of the group to arrive at Playa del Bajo de la Burra

Meet 4pm for 4.15pm Avanti Lifestyle Hotel by Playa Corralejo

Come lets go with the flow on this beautiful FREE 8 mile Thames Path festive walk !

We shall commence the walk STRICTLY at 10am.

Please bring waterproof jacket, walking shoes boots or trainers as well as water and snacks etc.

We shall stop in Barnes midway for around 25 mins.

This walk shall finish by 1.30pm.

At the end of the walk you may decide to visit a pub, have lunch in Richmond or simply make your way home.

Please make sure you have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity and you should be fit enough to walk at 2.5 miles per hour.

A lovely FREE stroll by the well lit Thames on a winter's evening approaching Christmas !

We shall set off at 6.45pm and walk for around 4 miles taking in Millennium and Tower Bridge before having a drink at around 8.30pm.

Please bring water and snacks and wear appropriate footwear and dress up warm.
