A truly fabulous and simply unforgettable five day walking and sightseeing trip awaits us in the Emerald isle !

We shall be staying in the town of Tralee and you should book 4 nights - Monday to Friday- though you could stay on longer into the weekend if you choose.

After being picked up at Kerry Airport on Monday there shall be two pickup and drop off points to meet the coach : Manor West Hotel Leisure Club & Tralee railway station.

We shall do some stunning and really memorable and scenic walks travelling throughout mostly by private coach - the coach shall be picking us up at Kerry Airport on Monday morning and dropping us back at Kerry Airport on early Friday afternoon.

Ryanair flights to be booked when available :

Monday Luton to Kerry 9am ( arrives 10.30am )
Friday Kerry to Luton 3.20pm ( arrives 5.50pm )

Nestled down on Ireland's dramatic South West Atlantic Coast Dingle and Kerry are ringed by sandy cliffs, craggy cliffs and house rural seaside villages with a backdrop of some amazing tall mountains on Kerry that all told make for some totally spectacular views on all the walks.

By coach - Castlegregory circular 5 to 6 miles on Dingle

Coach back at 4.30pm to either train station or Manor West Hotel

By coach 9.30am - 9 to 10 mile walk on Valentia Island on Kerry

Coach back at 5pm

Choice :

Walk Killarney 9 to 10 miles taking in Ross Castle, Muckross Abbey and Muckross House

Meet Tralee railway station as from 8.30am

Buy Return to Killarney

Outbound train 9.05am that arrives at Killarney at 9.39am

Optional ferry to Innisfallen Island

Derrymore Island 4 to 5 mile walk on Dingle

then coach at noon direct to Kerry Airport

Once you have booked your hotel please put a comment on the event page.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour, be prepared to do a couple of the walks of up to 10 miles in length and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.

Also by rsvping to this trip you will be aware of the risks encountered in low level walking in the Great Outdoors.

Meetup fee £40 ( season ticket holders : £30 ) payable in advance by bank transfer.

Share of coach : £85

You should need pay a non-refundable deposit of £70 to secure your place ASAP - STRICT DEADLINE is Friday 20th June otherwise you will lose your place - you will be able to sell your deposit to someone on the wait list if you need to subsequently cancel.
