Herne Bay to Westgate on Sea

A truly wonderful Kent coastal walk of around 10 miles that takes in the amazing Reculver remains as an amazing lunchstop !

This is my favourite walk 😀

Train to catch : 9.40am from Victoria that arrives at Herne Bay at 11.07am.

We shall buy group return train tickets as from 8.50am.

Train ticket : return to Westgate-on-Sea.

Or you may decide to drive.

The walk shall commence by 11.20am.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket, walking shoes or trainers and suncream, sunhat and sunglasses.

Meetup fee : £8 in cash or £6 by Friday in advance by bank transfer, details supplied by private message.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.

Likely train back from Westgate-on-Sea at 5.08pm.
