Taplow to Windsor along the Thames with local boat trip

A perennial favourite of the group is this stunning 9 mile Thames Path walk.

Please arrive by 10am to facilitate the purchase of group return train tickets for the 10.35am Elizabeth line train to Taplow that arrives at 11.23am.

We leave for the platform at 10.20am.

Meetup fee £8 payable in cash or £6 by Saturday in advance by bank transfer, details available upon request.

The walk shall commence by 11.40am.

You should bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc waterproof jacket and walking shoes / trainers. Also sunhat, sunglasses and suncream.

At Windsor we shall have a drink at Browns before taking the really fun OPTIONAL 40 minute French Brothers boat trip around Windsor.

We shall have an ice-cream too !

Getting back to London from Windsor is easy and would simply involve buying a small supplementary fare from Windsor & Eton Central train station to Slough.

It is your responsibility to take note of all agreed times and to bide by them.

You should have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity and be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour.
