Charming Leamington Spa & fantastic Hatton Locks

Lets go with the flow and do this 8.5 mile favourite of the group!

Hatton Locks are a wonderful sight and an amazing feat of engineering.

The walk will be along the various waterways of Leamington Spa starting at Mill Passage off Mill Lane passing near Warwick until the wonderful Hatton Locks along the Grand Union Canal.

We shall buy train tickets to Hatton for the 10am train that arrives at Leamington Spa at 11.27pm.

Train ticket : Return to Hatton.

Meetup fee £8 payable in cash or £6 by Friday in advance by bank transfer, details available upon request. No PayPal.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes / trainers.

Please make sure that you can walk at 2.5 miles per hour and that you have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.

We shall go have a drink in the early afternoon and a coffee at the end of the walk at the iconic Hatton Locks Cafe before leaving the cafe at 4.20pm and then taking the 5.04pm train that arrives back at 6.48pm.
