Ford to Amberley featuring Arundel Stunning River Arun Walk

A beautiful 9 mile walk by the stunning River Arun with an extended lunch stop in Arundel - so quaint with all its antique shops , castle and cathedral too !

Let's go with the flow !

Group return train tickets shall be purchased as from 9.50am for the train at 10.35am that arrives at Ford at 12.06pm.

Train ticket : Ford return.

Or you may decide to drive.

We shall set off immediately from Ford train station.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and wear boots, walking shoes or trainers.

Meetup fee : £8 payable in cash or £6 by Saturday in advance by bank transfer, details supplied upon request.

Please use the toilets on the train as there is only one toilet at Ford and it is generally closed.

We shall have a drink at the end of the walk in Amberley and also during the walk in a beautiful Arundel riverside pub.

Train back from Amberley at 5.58pm.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.
