Bradford on Avon to Bath Kennet and Avon Canal Walk

A most stunning 9 mile stretch of the Kennet and Avon canal from lovely idyllic Bradford on Avon to Bath, culminating in the famed beautiful spa town replete with its famous baths and Royal Crescent and unique distinctive fantastic sandstone architecture.

Please arrive by 9.15am to buy group return train tickets to Bradford on Avon and we shall be taking the 10am train that arrives in Bradford on Avon at 11.47am after changing at Bath Spa.

Please bring £50 in cash to expedite the purchase of group train tickets.

Or you may decide to drive.

The walk shall start by noon.

We shall stop by a canal cafe at lunch time.

At the end of the walk leaving the canal at around 4.30pm we shall take a wander in delightful Bath.

Most likely direct
train back at 5.43pm.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes or trainers.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.
