Discover the Soul of Mexican Wine: Guanajuato’s Historic and Hidden Vineyards

Details

Join us for an inspiring afternoon of wine, wanderlust, and discovery at McMenamin's Kennedy School!

As you may know, Tom and I winter around the world. This past winter we made it our mission to explore the undiscovered wine regions of our beloved Mexico! It did not disappoint, in fact, it was even better than we could have imagined!! We'd love to share a slide show presentation highlighting our adventure exploring the Camino de los Vinos!
Tucked away in the highlands of central Mexico, Guanajuato is home to one of the country’s most exciting and emerging wine regions—filled with bold reds, boutique vineyards, and breathtaking landscapes.
In this special travel presentation we'll share highlights from our recent exploration of Valle de Guadalupe, San Miguel de Allende, Queretaro and Guanajuato’s wine country, including behind-the-scenes visits to:
🍇 Dos Búhos – A biodynamic, artistic haven just outside San Miguel
🍷 Tres Raíces – A sleek, modern estate with luxury tastings
🏺 Cuna de Tierra – One of the region’s most celebrated and sustainable wineries
🌿 Viñedo Toyan – A mystical, organic vineyard with underground cellars
You’ll learn about:
✅ What makes this high-altitude region perfect for winemaking
✅ The art and passion behind Mexico’s boutique producers
✅ How you can join us on our next female-forward wine adventure through Guanajuato and beyond
