About us
This is a space for people who have left family, community, religion, or environments where they never truly felt like they belonged, and are now building life on their own terms.
Whichever environment you walked away from, you did it because at some point you realized that staying meant abandoning yourself.
Now you’re in that in-between stage where there’s freedom, but also confusion. Relief, but also guilt. Space, but also loneliness. And a lot of moments where you’re still trying to figure out who you are outside of everything you left behind.
I’ve been there, and I created this space because I wish I had it when I needed it... and because I think people who live by their truth are pretty awesome, and I’d like to meet more of you :)
In this group:
- We meet weekly for community calls on Mondays where you can share your story, talk about what you’re going through, and connect with others on a similar path
- We have weekly support calls on Fridays where 1–2 members bring something they’re currently navigating and receive support from the group
- We host a monthly book club where we explore ideas from hand-picked books (no cliché self-development crap) and discuss how they apply to real life
If you have any questions, you are welcome to reach out to me on IG or Substack, hope to see you in your next call, until then, good on you for choosing yourself, I know it can be hard, but you're doing great. 💚🌹
Warmly,
Annabelle

Life After Cutting Ties With Family: Share Your Story
·OnlineOnlineA space for people who left family, community, religion, or environments where they never truly felt like they belonged.
Maybe you cut ties with family.
Maybe you left a restrictive community, culture, religion, or hometown.
Maybe you simply realized the life expected of you didn’t feel like yours at all.
So you left. Or emotionally disconnected long before you physically did.
Not necessarily because everything was “bad,” but because staying meant abandoning yourself.
Now you’re figuring life out on your own terms.
And while freedom can feel exciting, it can also feel isolating when most people around you still relate to the very things you walked away from.
You may feel disconnected from:
- Family expectations
- Traditional life paths
- Social norms and “shoulds”
- The pressure to fit into roles that never felt right
- Conversations and environments that feel shallow or limiting
This space is for people navigating that in-between stage.
A place to share your story openly, talk about what you’re navigating, and connect with others who understand what it’s like to leave behind a life that didn’t feel aligned and start building one that does.

Life After Cutting Ties With Family: Guided Group
·OnlineOnlineLeaving your family is not something you just “move on” from overnight.
Even when you’ve been thinking about doing it for years, and you know in your heart it was the right decision, it can bring up a lot that’s hard to navigate alone.
Guilt that comes in waves.
Doubt about whether you made the right choice.
Loneliness that most people around you don’t really understand.
And sometimes, confusion about how to even move forward from here.
This is a guided group for people who have cut ties with family or created distance that changed everything.
It’s a space where you don’t just share what you’re going through, but actually get support in working through it.
Each session is a mix of open conversation and guided support around what people are currently navigating, so you’re not left stuck in your head trying to figure everything out alone.
We talk through things like:
- Guilt and second-guessing your decision
- Emotional attachment and letting go
- Boundaries and staying firm in your choice
- Loneliness and rebuilding connection
- Navigating family contact or no contact dynamics
- Finding stability while building a life on your own terms
This is for the in-between stage—where you’ve left, but you’re still processing it and might be feeling a bit lost on how to move forward.
