- Bonneville Shoreline North From Ogden Canyon TrailheadOgden Canyon Trail Head, Ogden, UT
At 6:30 we'll begin the hike from the Ogden River parkway lot (across the road to the north of Rainbow Garden), climb up to the Shoreline trail then head north. We will return after about 2.5 miles depending upon trail conditions. Elevation gain: 750 ft. Be prepared for snow, mud and ice.

The Gailey Trail is a surprisingly beautiful trail that follows along Bair Creek in Kaysville. It is a short very wooded trail in a gulley between Nichols Park & some houses. Pretty bridges. Dirt/wood chips flat path. May be muddy. 2 mile loop. Meet at the west parking lot off Nichols Rd/Main St. See pic. Maybe we'll have time to grab a donut at Bowman's after ! Frary Peak Trail is a 6.9 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Syracuse, Utah that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, and bird watching and is best used from April until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Antelope Island State Park charges a fee to enter. Fees are per vehicle (less per vehicle for Seniors). Bicycles, motorcycles, and pedestrians must pay per person. Annual Passes are also available. Please check with the park for current rates.

Sardine Peak Ogden Outlook Trail is a 8.6 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Huntsville, Utah that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and mountain biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
This trail takes in the best of Snowbasin and the Cache Nation Forest. It is 90% covered by trees. At the top of Sardine Peak, you can see over Pineview Reservoir. At the top of Ogden Overlook, you have a 360-degree view over Ogden Canyon. The climbs are switchbacks with easy very few obstacles. Sardine is a newer trail so not as traveled as other popular trails.
This area is heavily used by mountain bikers.
