The Como La Flor Band is not just a tribute; it is the very first Selena tribute band, the one that started it all. Since its founding in 2011 in Holtville, CA, the band has been at the forefront of honoring La Reina del Tex-Mex, paving the way for countless others while preserving her legacy with authenticity and passion. For more than a decade, the Como La Flor Band has remained the premier Selena tribute in the nation, captivating audiences across the United States and internationally. Their dedication, energy, and respect for Selena’s artistry have made them the benchmark for what a true tribute should be. At the heart of the band is a powerhouse lead vocalist who flawlessly captures Selena’s voice, look, and signature dance moves. Paired with a team of seasoned musicians, the chemistry on stage is electric — recreating the unforgettable magic of Selena’s live performances. Every note and every step are delivered live, with no pre-recorded tracks, ensuring an authentic, high-energy concert experience from beginning to end. 1. RSVP's: If you can no longer attend, please update your RSVP to “Not Going” as soon as possible. You may also notify the Host by text or Meetup message. Please do not ask how many people are attending, who is attending, or why attendance limits are in place.
2. NOTIFICATIONS: All attendees who RSVP for this event must keep Meetup notifications enabled for this group and check their email and Meetup Messages regularly for event updates.
3. PROFILE PHOTOS & NAMES: To help us identify all attendees, your profile must include a current, clear, unobstructed photo of yourself. Profile photos may NOT include:

4. BEHAVIOR: All attendees are expected to be respectful, courteous, considerate, sober, and conduct themselves appropriately at all times. Gossip, arguments, and discussions likely to create conflict are prohibited. This includes negative or argumentative discussions about politics, wars, race, religion, other people, other Meetup groups, or any other divisive topics. Profanity, obscene language, and offensive remarks are not permitted. Sexual harassment will not be tolerated. This includes unwanted touching, leering, suggestive comments, sexually explicit language, or any other unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature. Stalking is strictly prohibited. Attending events for the purpose of following, monitoring, or harassing another member is grounds for immediate removal. Unsolicited Meetup messages are prohibited. Unless you already know another member personally, do not contact them through Meetup messaging without their consent. Please report any violations to the event host.
